Some questions yesterday re Chet’s next-door-neighbor and pal Iggy, and what kind of dog he is. In Dog On It, first book in the series, Bernie has told Chet that Iggy has some dachshund in him, and also some spaniel. We also know that Iggy is small, has a very long floppy tongue, flabby round ears, and a stubby tail. Plus: “Iggy’s smell is a little poopier than you usually find in members of the nation within, maybe takes some getting used to.” The rest is up to you, dear reader!

Iggy is a Heinz 57 dog. The best kind.

Did we ever learn how Iggy got his name? Maybe that will be the next installment of “what’s in a name.”

    Hello everyone.
