Heart of Barkness Launch …

… at Eight Cousins in Falmouth. No one threw anything, always the sign of a good event. Tonight: 7PM, Savoy Bookshop and Cafe, 10 Canal St., Westerly, Rhode Island. I’ll be reading the first scene – so you won’t have to!

As for preorder people who have not received the short story (Upper Story) – there are only a few, if I understand right. They should email toradvertising@tor.com. Don’t worry – you will get it somehow – even if I have to read it to you over the phone!

No one threw anything…Yay for Spence! I wonder if he sang Chet’s Song for the audience? ;^) I would love to have Spence read “Upper Story” over the phone to me!

RIO! The Subway Series is when the Yankees play the Mets. Those games are always fun (but not when the Yankees lose like last night).

    Good day to all!

Good day to all. It seems Amazon has hiccups on this deal. This’a.m. got an email from Amazon saying they had canceled my e-book. Back to The drawing board.
    Have a great day everyone.

Spence can read the story to me over the phone any time he likes, even though I did in fact get it 🙂

Loving the new book so far. It’s warm and familiar, and slipping into Chet’s world is like slipping into a comfy pair of shoes. Or sweats. Well, something comfy. The only bit of discord is…well…Jim Frangione, after *how many books and short stories?!*, is now mispronouncing Leda? Leda. It’s supposed to have a long e sound, not a short e sound. It bothers me more than it probably should. But aside from that little hiccup …

BooBear: OFA isn’t coming to our neck of the woods so we’ll have to order it from The Poisoned Pen in Arizona.
