    oh my dog!
Wose: I finally opened my calendar and I love, love, LOVE quilted Teddy on the cover. I peeked at January and, Dam! those January cats make me homesick for my sister’s cats. I think I will save the rest for later because that is enough awesomeness for one day. Thank you Wose for creating the 2019 Plunderer calendar!

    Greetings!

I love the cover of “Santa 365!” I can’t believe how quickly Christmas and 2018 have come and gone!

Dawson: I could not resist putting the Teddy quilt on the cover of the calendar! It looks great on the black background! I wish I could have seen the Teddy quilt with my own eyes…It is truly a work of art! As for the calendar, I have to thank all youse who post pictures to the blog. They make the make the calendar great!

    Heh, heh, heh!
Sometimes it’s good to be late. I read the last post from yesterday and thought the big panic was Hobbitz saying she was going to “listen to Rio” – not Hobbitz having a heart attack.
Hobbitz: I sure hope you got that smoke alarm silenced.

Rio: it has been shown that most New Year’s Resolutions only last 2-3 weeks so I can only promise you a short attention span.

The Snowhook doggies must be dancing in the snow; Sadie and I are slogging through the snow. We are to have a big windstorm tonight and New Year’s plus warmer temperatures–warm enough to turn snow to slush.

One of my adult foster kitties was adopted which makes a big difference in my time. Of course, cat rescue wants me to take a problem cat for 2-3 weeks. I told them that if I took it, they had to keep their promise of only 2-3 weeks. It was placed with a brand-new foster but he started not using the litter box. We want to keep the foster and need to give her a different cat. They wanted to trade one of my fosters with the problem cat but I said no.

Hobbit!…#1. You sound stressed out. Take your Airborne today and maybe tomorrow…snuffle!

Kats!…#2. Regarding my opinion of Katz I know you won’t listen at all so therefore…I have no opinion on Katz for you to listen too…sniff!

Hobbit, I thought you were in charge of your rescue group, so who is telling you to swap fosters? For years mom volunteered at a small rescue, and people kept asking why she didn’t start a rescue of her own. Dad would almost faint at the thought! It truly does take over your life.

Mom made a stop at the pet food store yesterday and the cat rescue there was just closing up shop. She got to visit with the kitties that weren’t loaded up to go home. One was a 7 month old male that was the size of a 3-4month old kitten. Very tiny, but he looked healthy. There was also a little female Siamese female that just loved all the petting Mom gave her. So much temptation but Mom knew better!

BooBear: I used to get excited at adoption clinics seeing people heading our way but usually they were cat lovers rather than adopters. Loved hearing their cat stories. I am president of the rescue but presidents don’t have much power—it is up to me to draw the line in terms of my home. Two people do Intake and the two times I tried to help didn’t go well. I let them run the foster placement.

Rio: Airborne doesn’t work for me but I have been taking care of myself. My New Year’s resolution involves establishing a morning wake up routine and a bedtime routine instead of just falling in and out of bed. May YOU be healthy, wealthy and wise in 2019 (at least two of the three)

Plunderers!…What Hobbit said!…snort!…Let’s all make 2019 a very good year and let us be more involved on the blog. Maybe there is a “cause” we can all gather round and get involved in to bring us closer together. Any idea’s are welcome (except Katz)…snorkel!…Good Night youse All!…wuffle!zzz!

Cause! I have a cause that is near and dear to my sled pug heart. It has everything we could ask for—-heart, daring, an under dog and wotnot. Let’s make this the year of Operation Big Bed for Ole Doc!

Hello- A new member and I hope Chet speaks up here from time to time. My two dogs are upset right now wanting to give chase to some critters that are dancing on the back fence. Oh it is hard for them to settle down when some squirrelly doofus is shaking his heiny from the power lines or worse our fence!
