Gingerbread
Back to reader questions. Rebecca Shull Compton writes:
“Is the previously mentioned gingerbread house really made of baked goods? Is it life-size? Are Hansel and Gretel there?”
Here is part of the relevant scene from Up On The Woof Top, coming Oct. 17 and now preorderable in hardcover and audio:
Wedding? What wedding was this? But before I could even get started on any of that, a woman of perhaps Bernie’s age or a little younger, stepped out from behind an enormous gingerbread house, so big I could perhaps have squeezed myself inside – although I doubt there’ll be time to go into what happened to it later in the evening – and said, “Were you just talking to this gorgeous dog?”
“Well, yes,” Bernie said.
“That’s so sweet. Is it a he or a she?”
That was a stunner.

Greetings!
I am laughing at Rebecca’s questions…They are great! :^)
A very nice day in this neck of the woods, so Grizz and I had another opportunity to feed the chipmunks in the local park this morning.
Good afternoon to all!

Well, at the dog park it can be difficult to tell. Even if they turn around and present their nether regions, it might still be hard to tell unless you can get a glimpse of the undercarriage. Not so easy with the little dogs or the hairy ones.
Chet should be flattered she was concerned over if he was a he or a she. Much better than an IT.
I think I read somewhere this is dog week.
