Giants
We drove away, silent for a long time, the car full of Bernie’s thoughts. I loved the feeling of Bernie’s thoughts. They were giants! And the west – which was where we lived, a fact I’d learned quite recently – was a giant land, so we matched up perfectly, Bernie and the land, and me, too, of course. Don’t forget me. I like being in the mix.

Mix!…I like being in The Mix myself…snort!…I gave those tree guys a piece of my pug-mind when they showed up ON TIME but without the right equipment….grump!…This meant that they did not touch the front Sic-a-more tree which is a Giant among Giants because they did not have a machine with a bucket on it to haul a guy up high enough to cut down the tree top….wheeze!…Idiots! All they brought with them was a ladder…snort!…So they finished cutting down the smaller tree in the back and took away some of the wood. The bigger logs are now sitting in the front yard…wheeze!gurgle!…My friend was not happy when she returned to see what had NOT happened today…sniff!

Supper!…For supper my friend is going to make Fish n’ Chips…snort!… I’m not sure how I feel about fish. However, I do like chips..sniff!sniff!

I’m up to chapter four.
But I noticed the finaly 10 episodes of Vikings has finally been released on Prime, so I may have to delay the book for a few days.
It’s all good. Plenty of time until July.
I finally have all three Queenie and Arthur and there is still Olive, Mabel and Me.
Of course there is that long dry spell until October. I may have to read the entire Chet and Bernie series, including e-books, all over again to get me to October.
