Good morning Chet, Spence and Admin. Sun is shining here in the middle of the mitten. Mom is watching me eat. She’s off for the test-that-shall-not-be-named in an hour or so. My wonderful grandma is here spending time with me and will drive mom to the hospital today.
I watched as much of the NASCAR race as I could, then set the DVR for the finish and went to dreamland. I’ll watch the last 40 laps later today.

Rio, Every time we read your reports about Beau’s issues we feel like crying. Not a case of a bad dog, just bad people. Beau’s first people did him a horrible injustice. It is going to take a very patient and knowledgable person to work through his problems. Your friend cannot do it when she has to be gone during the week. Would it be worth having a behavioralist come in and consult? Could mom follow directions if they came from a 3rd party rather than your friend?

Rose, our mom did not eat anything bad. She just probably enjoyed the outdoors longer than she should have. She always has a way of rushing the season. She isn’t really sick; just tired and very achy. Pop’s birthday is later this week, and she doesn’t want to be sick for their long weekend.

We aren’t sure if Kat is sick “again” or “still”. Also wondering if she is put back on her puppy kibble too soon. And we also think she eats stuff outdoors which she shouldn’t. That is difficult to control on this farm. So Mom says she will do the burger/rice thing for close to a week now, andwe’ll see how that goes. We do think there is a possibility of a food allergy. Hope not…any ideas what to try?
She does not act sick at all.

Try this again. I’ve written three times and then something happens that I have to do right away. Hopefully this time, everything else will wait until I put something up!
B.Stover: It’s very short. 1 second. Could be you’re missing it and getting the “videos related to thingy”.
Had a grand time. Saw everyone in relays. OTAS and FOTAS, then OTAS went to work until 12am. We went and picked up FOTAS’s mom and did the fitting. SHE IS GORGEOUS! I did take a picture of the bling sandals and will get her to send me the picture. I took them on her camera.
We stayed up late 11pm and talked. Saturday morning she was off to work early and OTAS and I got to see each other for an hour. Then he was off to work and I got to doze and play with Papi their dog.
OTAS’s mom called and asked how I was doing. I said I was okay but tired. She didn’t think the fitting took that long but I reminded her I had also driving for 4.5 hours. Turns out she had to pick up some dining room chairs for the shower and she wanted to bring them back to the house, and could we use my car. I said fine, and what did I do with Papi? Change of plans. She got someone else to help pick them up and brought them to the house and then I would take her home.
Beautiful chairs. Micro something. Great match in the colors. We set up the dining room and when FOTAS came home stood around until she noticed them. Took her 10 minutes. She burst into tears! Loves them.
Then took other mom home and told her I was glad the guys were so close to her. She doesn’t think they are! They live 16 miles and 30 minutes in time. I didn’t remind her that it takes me over 4 hours to see them. Snicker.
It took OTAS 10 minutes of us telling him to get things from the kitchen and having to walk through the dining room to notice the chairs. He loves them.
We all had Saturday night together. Then Sunday!
I looked great! I was the best dressed there! Didn’t get a single picture because I was the one taking the pictures with FOTAS’s camera. Beautiful things! Pretty things! Useful things! I got them a picture from Ryan Marquis’s photographs in Alaska. Set the whole thing up that it was sent to Ryan first and he signed it and then to me to frame. Look great!
Rob got to see the presents when we got back and he said it was like a birthday. He got things to play with and make work.
Talked a long time on Sunday, woke up early on Monday, hit the road and it took me 5.5 hours to get back. Very tired and stopped for longer periods of time!
Still trying to stay awake. Here’ a picture of OTAS with Papi. Papi has developed white eyebrows in his middle age.

Now it appears there is a tradition that someone takes the wrapping and bows from the bridal shower and makes a hat. The hat is worn at the rehearsal.

We are back. North wind blowing. If there was any moisture in the air it would not be raining, but snowing. Biting cold I tell ya, biting cold.
Melanie: Love the photos of FOTAS (wearing the very cool Berkie shows with bling) & OTAS (who must be looking at his beautiful bride-to-be in that spectacular hat (who was that old-time actress who wore those huge hats in her dance numbers?) and Papi. Papi looks like true star material. Look at the way he poses for the camera. Now Uggie is retired watch out Hollywood.

O.Howlers: Bad batch of Kibble perhaps? Seems to be a “run” (excuse the pun) of this problem. Food allergies could be a possibility.
Rio: Funny you should mention looking forward to the warmer weather. We were thinking the same thing last evening (although not quite in the same way) As the temperatures grow warmer Beau may be more inclined to use the outhouse.

Kat only has the runs. She has been indoors all day long with sicky Mom, and no problemo. We still think its the crap she eats outdoors on the farm. Including crap from the horses. But there is no stream that she can get to. When she gets past puppyhood, hopefully she will outgrow this. In the meantime, it is burger and rice for her, which worries us because she needs her nutrition to withstand her tackling-dummy courses. She is such a happy and patient little girl, she doesn’t even care if it is rice only! But a lot of folks have told us horror stories of food allergies in their dogs. What a pain it would be to have to drive far to get special food. We have a Feed Store less than a mile from us where we get everything now.

We here are soooo glad to have the new space age computer and kool new monitor. Windows 7 is heaven compared to the 2003 (clunker) version we had. Plus with the new wide screen we can watch all the latest shows. A huge difference! I hope all of you having problems will be able to upgrade soon. Of course, most of youse have the incredible iPaw and we don’t. We joke about the misspelling, but it’s only a dream.
T&G: Mom got wonderfluffed today too. She always says “just a tiny trim”. That way she comes out with a regular hair cut, not one that needs to grow out for 2 months before she can appear in public.
