I’m much more excited about Snowhook reaching their Dog Truck Fund goal and the baseball game tonight than I am about the elections. I hate the campaign signs stuck every where in the ground and all the phone calls, which we don’t answer.
My folks have already voted.

Siber, We here are bombarded with calls and emails too. Will be glad when it is over. Our campaign for governor in Illinois has been a particularly nasty one, and truthfully, I don’t like either guy. They say or Speaker of the House runs the state anyway, so not sure it really matters.
This is interesting – we have started getting campaign literature regarding different candidates stand on animal rights issues. Obviously, someone has shared their donation list, otherwise how would they know that it is important in this household.

We are sitting in the living room watching the very last baseball game of the season. The Giants are up by TW0. The guy who rents our land just went by the house in his tractor with all the night time lights shining away. He will be going home to watch the game, hopefully with his grain truck full.
And throught the middle of the three south window I can see a sliver of the moon high in the sky.
