Good Happy Birthday Computer Getting Day!
We have finished the walk/run. The Pack is pooped. Hot for us in April. 65 degrees. We are not going to talk about the heat for the next two days.
Zoë and I went to the 5 family yard sale down the street. We were looking for a mirror for Dan. SCORE! She wouldn’t let me get ANYTHING else. (I did sneak in a Martha Grimes when she wasn’t looking).
Dan is at my sister’s church and they are having a lunch so he’s gone for awhile. Bet he takes a long nap when he gets home.

YSAS is very good at Prat falls and stage combat. In fact, he’s gotten people very upset when he falls. Of course, that doesn’t count the time that he and Hamlet slipped on the wet pavement and ended up in the hospital.
Snicker, he got a date by accident last night. One of the new attractive cast members said she had to go, and YSAS said, Oh, that’s too bad, you should hang out with us. Except she didn’t hear the “with us” and gave him her phone number.

No.#1 son’s flight arrived in Tokyo an hour early, at 3:33 pm. Thank Dog! We couldn’t have stayed awake on moment longer!
Since he probably got some snooze-time on the plane, the 16 hour time difference shouldn’t be too much of a problem. We here slept in.

Mama and Dad went tag saling this morning too. No score there, but she did get a whole armload of free books at the recycling center.
So, now she is off to work on her bear. She won’t let us help because she is using the power sander and there is going to be fiberglass dust EVERYWHERE!
And she says she will be so happy when all the coverage of the 100th anniversary of the sinking of that big ship is over. Her stomach has been in knots for days – she won’t even turn the tv on – and them she gets to this here blog and…..gahhhhh!

I asked a question last night about Belle Starr getting on the roof. When I woke up this morning I asked a similar question by replaced ‘Belle Starr’ with ‘I.’. The details are a little fuzzy of how it happened. I could see Annabelle and AJ curled up in an easy chair sleeping, not to be woken despite my attempts. In the end, Rio, your neighbor was very nice and didn’t ask too many questions as they brought a ladder round so Belle Starr and I could climb down. Where was Luna in all this—-the one I put in charge? Good question. It seems she spent the evening with Patsy discussing shifts to keep Melanie sniffly under the quilt.

Buddy: it seems AJ took your advice to get out of the laundry room by way of the window. One problem. He is a lot bigger that you what with the shoulders and the height. In the end had to, um, enlarge the window a bit. Luckily, he is never without his tools—no, not even at a party—so the job was easy enough. He put it back as good as new and, tired from the effort and Annabelle tired from supervising said effort, they promptly found and easy chair in the yard and took a nap.

Plans!…Change of plans! No computer shopping today. Its too cold and windy and someone decided we can limp along one more week with this old thing. Okay, I will answer the blood question. As soon as he’s done with the show. He’s got a matinee today.
I have finished working the compost. I think we will have a caffeine and hard cider compost. We did the walk / run. In fact, I think I’ve done everything I was going to do except the Katty willows. I’m doing those on the other side of the river. More sun and closer to the water. we had fisher people though and I didn’t want to get in their way.

I know that you can buy fake blood at costume shops at Halloween. My boys used it by the gallon. Sometimes they would rip their clothes, cover themselves with fake blood, and lie down on the road. They couldn’t figure out why everyone laughed as they drove by.

Staff has been thinking about stuff for the booteek. She has it all packed away for her trip back to the farm. Now if she can only find it there once it is all unpacked!.
I have been laying quietly between Mr.Staff’s feet as it is raining really hard and I don’t like that at all. If it starts to lightning and thunder I will slink into the closet way back in the dark. It is the safest place.

Today was our Easter. Staff cooked the spiral ham to perfection with the Royal’s mums instructions and it was delish.
Tomorrow Staff will go to work and I will actually have to assume some of the duties of the caregiver to the ‘rents.
On Tuesday I will do my taxes. This is called leaving things until the last minute and then some.
