Off today so going to work on the garden a bit. Found a place that has some lovely horse poop, so going to go pick up a couple of tubs of it and spread it on the garden beds. Howlers are lucky they have their own horse poop AND chicken poop.

Mom will have to find a place for this calendar and for the Snowhook calendar. She move a large picture from its spot in a hallway and is planning on doing a Snowhook picture arrangement. It should look like Pottery Barn but with the Snowhook dogs and the giants in the photos.

Good Bootie Morning all, I am sure Rio will appreciate this. We have a bootie announcement to make. We had another donation early this morning. Long before I was awake. Our bootie fund is now at 575 dollars which is 1/3 of the way to our goal!
I wonder if we will have green booties again this year? I did like being able to tell Justin’s team by the bootie color when I looked at pictures last year.

Loulou had a bad time today with two Kats. I took her to a new groomer and there were four large rescue Kats and a Great Dane who were the groomer’s pets. When we first got there, a large Kat was posed on the half-wall. Little Loulou was way down on the floor, but the Kat easily reached down and batted her on the snoot. Loulou was indignant. Then when I came to pick her up, another Kat was under a chair and Loulou put her head down to sniff. Lots of hissing and another bop on the snoot.
Loulou’s grooming was beautiful and we will continue to go to that groomer. Loulou will hopefully learn to adjust.

Barb just got back from the liquor store. Sure hope she likes pumpkin ale, because it was $10.00 for a four-pack. The guy who waited on her said this was the best one, in his opinion. Not chilled, so she will try it tomorrow night.
Just made a pot of chili. Perfect weather for it. Our chili probably is too mild for Rio’s friend, who seems to like a little more heat than wussy Barb does.
Barb picked up an extra day at work next week. Good thing as she is feeling mighty poor these days. She won’t even look at her mutual fund accounts now days, with the markets in the toilet.

Barb here – I bought Dogfish Head Punkin Ale. Have you tried that one? It is somewhat sweet and spicy, according to John at Armanentti’s Liqours.
ML, don’t do anything else till you are sure of your decisions. It is best to work with a Financial Planner who has the CFP designation, and one who is fee based. That means he/she works for a flat charge, and doesn’t get a commission every time they buys or sells for you. My best win, though was an “honorable mention” in one of Spencer’s quizzes back in the old days. I think Wookie won the prize. Hi everyone. Once again, just catching up at the end of the day.
Congrats to Cats Near and Far (just not our Wrotten ones). Yay, BlueKat!! Yippee, Catty Librarian!
Mama has yet to get her act together to send Barb’s snowflake earrings. But now, she has two packages to get in the mail, plus maybe another one for someone special. So, she says she will get on the stick. Why she would want to be on a stick, we have no idea. Sounds painful to us.
We are THRILLED to be the July centerfolds. Mama’s birthday is in July, and she always says that calendars never have a great picture for that month. Well, this coming year, July will ROCK!
Thanks to all of you who have emailed and messaged and thought about brother. He is still in the hospital, and the doctors are not very hopeful for a recovery. It is very hard on Mama as she is there a couple of times a day, plus she has to take care of things like wills, and power of attorney and bill paying etc, and on and on. But the Creator is in charge. We can only go along on the path that is intended. And sometimes paths take sudden turns. It’s all a mystery, isn’t it?

I read a few different theories working on this post. Most of them found my 2 year old medium sized dog to be 21-24 in dog years, Based on the 7 dog years to a human year theory I thought we should be throwing her a Bark-Mitzvah.
