Dinu
An English lesson in a far-off country:
“My point,” Professor Bogdan went on, “is that no American says it is I. They say it’s me. The grammar is wrong but that’s how they say it. You must learn the right wrong grammar. That’s the secret of sounding American.”
“How will I learn?”
“There are ways. For one you could go to YouTube and type in ‘Country Music.’ Now begin again.”
“Hello, it’s me, your grandson, insert name here,” Dinu said.

Greetings!
This excerpt is making me laugh. :^)
RIO! Like Hobbit, I will have to add the series on the “to be read” pile. My TBR pile is quite extensive, both in electronic and paper form. I could start my own library…. Looking forward to receiving some of your vintage photos. Does your Friend have any of you when you were a pup? You must have been sooo cute!
Good Monday to all!

One of my favorite English grammar books (if it is okay to even have a favorite English grammar book) is “Woe is I”. Very much in line with the excerpt above.

Good day to everyone!
Heavens to Betsy, I thought I was the only one in the US survey that corrected people’s grammar on television. Nice to know that me is not the lone ranger!

Another day where my driveway and street are ice rinks. 33 degrees will light rain.
The Little Kitty has been not herself for a couple of days. Still eats some but sleeps a lot and her tail is down instead of up. Poor kitty. I hope he is himself tomorrow.
