Congratulations Ozzie!

The random number generator – built in a hipster Seattle garage – has spoken: “Dude,” it said. “Chet’s friend of the month for August is Ozzie.”

Congrats to Ozzie. He’ll be over in the special place on the right for the whole month and his human companion will receive a signed and paw-printed copy of PAW AND ORDER (as soon as we get a mailing address). In September, this could be you! Just upload a photo to the friends gallery. Our Seattle division takes over from there.

And meanwhile, here’s a new photo of Millie, June’s winner, taken recently in a somewhat muddy area:

    Hi Ozzie! Cobgratulations!

Harris! Sweet name for a sweet pup. Can’t wait to learn more and see pictures.

We are now officially on vacation, so we probably won’t be around much. Do nlt worry about us.

Oh, and Siber! Yep I had more than a few by the time of my picture. Water. My beverage of choice.

Ozzie is cute, pretty, and looks a bit like me. However, since I am the spoiled princess, I declare myself the prettiest. I have spoken.

Ooo Millie. I bet it took your owner a long time to clean you up and dry you out. Wowzer

I have a question. Do any additional book signings get added to the schedule?

Yes, Martha, it’s possible. Where are you thinking?

Congratulations to Ozzie who is unbelievably cute in that swing.

What a well deserved honor for our Hobbit. Why is there water in my eyes?

    Millie: Is that really you?

Masquers and Meashka enjoy your holidays.

Barb and Maggie: Hooray for speechless Josh!

Chet the Dog: How about Royston, BC?

Rio: Always! Carry your passport with you when traveling! I have mine here just in case Spencer makes an unannounced visit or a Plunderer washes up on shore.

I was thinking of western mass or Albany NY, which would be very convenient for Amalia and me!

We could make sure OFA had a nice home cooked dinner if he came to our little village.

And with that we are officially turning our nose up at the new FOM. Should be a KAT! Harumph.

Barb – we are very proud of your Josh. That is indeed an honor.

Diane – the bite is still weird looking, but thanks to the miracles of modern medicine, Mama is no longer scratching like (you should excuse the expression) a dog with fleas.

We are a tad concerned about a situation that may be developing. Seems that we may have a new prima dona in our midst. Miss Scout seems assured of her status as most adorable. What happens when Princess Sammie gets wind of that?

Basil!…Like your Maw and Paw haven’t met him enough already…grunt!…Leave some of him for the rest of us…sniff!

T and G–I’m glad your Mama is doing better. I had the same thought when I read Ms. Scout’s post–I think she and the Princess should meet.
Chet the Dog–I was late off the mark this year, but maybe next year you could arrange something with the Placentia Public Library? (I’ll be scouting you in Orange this time around–don’t worry–no stalking…)

Lots of excitement today with new pups, travel, two posts and a tourism award. We need to get to bed to absorb it all.
    G’night, all.

Good night T & G. Glad that your mama’s bite is on the mend.

Just had a nice rainstorm and now we are saying good night too.

Grump. Cats rule dogs drool. We need another kat FOM. Oh well, maybe next month.

Staff has been out all day and didn’t get back until 9 p.m. Now I am going to bug her until she feeds me. Yay!
    See y’all tomorrow.

Even though I am a Kat, I have to say that dogs have their good sides. Here is a friend, Kitty Kitty, whose leg was just amputated. And with him is Brutus, a senior rescue, cuddling and helping KK to get better.

This made me feel good to see so I thought I would share it.

Elliott–what a beautiful picture–thank you. (Do you do outcall massage? And if so, on what species?)
