The random number generator – built in a hipster Seattle garage – has spoken: “Dude,” it said. “Chet’s friend of the month for August is Ozzie.”
Congrats to Ozzie. He’ll be over in the special place on the right for the whole month and his human companion will receive a signed and paw-printed copy of PAW AND ORDER (as soon as we get a mailing address). In September, this could be you! Just upload a photo to the friends gallery. Our Seattle division takes over from there.

Barb – we are very proud of your Josh. That is indeed an honor.
Diane – the bite is still weird looking, but thanks to the miracles of modern medicine, Mama is no longer scratching like (you should excuse the expression) a dog with fleas.
We are a tad concerned about a situation that may be developing. Seems that we may have a new prima dona in our midst. Miss Scout seems assured of her status as most adorable. What happens when Princess Sammie gets wind of that?

T and G–I’m glad your Mama is doing better. I had the same thought when I read Ms. Scout’s post–I think she and the Princess should meet.
Chet the Dog–I was late off the mark this year, but maybe next year you could arrange something with the Placentia Public Library? (I’ll be scouting you in Orange this time around–don’t worry–no stalking…)

Even though I am a Kat, I have to say that dogs have their good sides. Here is a friend, Kitty Kitty, whose leg was just amputated. And with him is Brutus, a senior rescue, cuddling and helping KK to get better.
This made me feel good to see so I thought I would share it.
