Good morning B. and everyone! Ticking for sure, it’s almost here .
Hope all are about ready. Mom is locking us out so she can wrap gifts ????.
There better be something for us, us, us! Hope Wose and Grizz enjoy their trip. Can’t wait to see the Snowhook fotos in Colombia ads.
    Have a great Saturday .

I have my contributions for the Christmas party all done. 30 presents are packed in the car so far. Almost done with that!
We are having ham and prime rib today. YUM!

The snow has stopped for now but the second wave is due to start at 2:00 and continue till midnight. Then tomorrow -18 below with -35 wind chill. Are you kidding me!

Last night I dumped a bunch of apple peels by the garage door (from my cranberry-apple jello dish). This morning there were hundreds of bunny tracks in the driveway and the peels are gone. Merry Christmas bunnies!

    Greetings!

It is snowing quite heavily here. Plans to travel into Boston are on hold until tomorrow, when hopefully, if the weather forecast is correct will be 56 degrees and raining.

BMALS: Wrapping 30 presents! You are amazing! I am sure those bunnies are quite thankful to you!

    Good day to all!

Wose, There are about 40-42 in all, 33 going over to the party today. That was a lot of wrapping!

I just put some lettuce out for the 2nd course. Hope they don’t mind if it is frozen!

Our extended family draws names…so there is only one gift to buy. Of course, there is still the immediate family members to buy presents for.

BMALS. In the spring you will be sorry you are feeding the bunnies.

I am a very bad Christmas card sender. But I expect I had better send one to Rio and Beau. I wonder if it will help Wose if I tuck our Wose card in there for Rio to show off and Beau to count? What do you guys think?

http://nature365.tv/december-17-2016/ tracks in the snow. You should see the tracks around here. Makes it look like Grand Central station.

Staff, The bunnies live in the neighbor’s yard, under the protection of their large pines. They come to my birdfeeders anyway, so it probably doesn’t matter too much. Plus, I am putting the scraps in the front, and not the back where the gardens are. That my help.

  11. BMALS

    That MAY help.

Almost ready to go, and snow is holding off till 2:00. At least I’ll be able to get there. May need someone to drive me home later!

I have received a notice from yahoo to update our password for the dishlick*** account. I’ve received this notice before but felt it wasn’t my place to do so. Now I think the account is at risk of being compromised so unless someone else is interested in doing so, I will change the password. I’ll wait until egg day to see if someone else wants to do it (?Rio).

I got that notice from Yahoo too, but I don’t think I am going to change passwords. They were hacked in 2013, I believe, so I don’t understand why they are announcing it now. And if noting has happened to me in 3 years, do I really need to be concerned? Can someone explain to me why maybe I should be more concerned?

Taking off now, will check in later.

I changed mine this week. I do not think it is too hard to change your password every 3 years. I say better safe than sorry. And although I have had no problems (that I know of) I was told that my account was one of the ones recently compromised.

Grizz and I are back from a day of Barnes and Noble browsing, and dinner at Legal Seafood in Woburn. There is probably about 4 inches of snow here. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate tomorrow, and we will take the train into Boston.

HOH: Oh yah, I got that weird “temporarily unavailable” message yesterday too.

It’s early but I’m in hibernation mode and have been going to bed early the last few nights.

Not sure what’s up with the cats but just as I get one all brushed and de-matted then the next one is covered. Only the fat one is free of mats. Thinking of buying a shaver.

Rio: I sent youse a card ages ago. You should have received it by now.

BMALS: thank you on behalf of bunnies. When I was trapping a kitten litter in an odd residential area on a hill, one of the houses had 100s of bunnies everywhere. This was an area that was considered ritzy in the 1970s.

I wrapped and mailed boxes today. Mr. Big kept trying to mail himself to warmer climates but I told him good luck since everywhere he was aiming for was having cold weather. Too bad I didn’t have my camera when he was trying to put himself into one of those small flat rate boxes. He managed an arm and laid down with his head on the contents and called it good. He was not gracious about being removed.

Lots to do but at least I got some of it done.

    Free Books for Kindle
In case you missed my earlier post, here it is again. Open Road Media has set the price of 5000 of its books to $0. Fritz Leiber, Harlan Ellison, Richard S. Prather, lots of poetry and nonfiction and classic fiction. You cannot go wrong. Just go to Amazon’s Advanced Search for Kindle, type Open Road Media into the publisher blank and sort low to high. I hope your Kindle has lots of memory.

This was mentioned on Bill Kriders blog

    Rio dear,
You had better warn your friend to be careful. Staff was working on cards tonight and when she went off to find some stamps a pixie blurred in with a strange creature with huge ears. They were doing something with your card. I couldn’t see because I was under the table looking for treats but I have my suspicions. They were gone by the time Staff returned and she never noticed a thing.

I wonder if Bellie button is missing anything lately?

My “Server is not available” message was ever present Saturday evening. I just woke up and wondered if the world is still out there. It is!
It has been cold here, though not the amazingly cold of Staff’s state. Zoe’s dishwasher may be frozen, so we will assess damage Sunday, when it will be in the 40’s.
The family gathers here for Sunday dinner and tree decorating. I am looking forward to it.
