What an excellent resolution Chet!
Good morning all.
9:12 am on January 2nd, 2012
Good Morning all. Eleanor you’ve brightened my day already. Love your picture and smile. I’m going to try attaching something to this post and hope it works. I’m not sure about sizing.

9:14 am on January 2nd, 2012
Sorry it didn’t work. Back to the drawing board. Good way to start the new year, huh?
9:15 am on January 2nd, 2012
One more try without the apostrophe.

9:38 am on January 2nd, 2012
Greetings All:
Back at work today.
Chet: Great New Year resolution! Think I’ll make it mine too.
B: The Prof and I saw “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” yesterday. The Sedish version is still superior, but the film was very good.
Tyb: I love, I love, I love my calendar dog!!
9:44 am on January 2nd, 2012
TYB, We too love your calendar. You are sooo photogenic! Will you be doing one each month.
I don’t have a resolution, but Barb’s is to eat better and lose some weight. Not very original, I know.
Well, after doing my morning recon, it looks like the place survived last night. A few branches in the yard, but it appears that eveything is intact. Breezy today, but relatively quiet. Still no snow. What’s up with that?
9:50 am on January 2nd, 2012
Like those resolutions Chet! Mine? Be kinder to myself.
TYB, looking good.
Barb and MagPie, glad your property is okay. We are just getting the wind. No snow here either. REally weird for us. Might get some “snizzle”. Snow crystals in sun. Very pretty, very small, no accumulation.
The Pack received a “Tongue” toy. No one knew what to do with it at first. Ros has no decided it is hers. She comes up to people, sounding like Wookie (Star Wars, not ours) and shows it off.
9:51 am on January 2nd, 2012
My Mommy wants to trade me for Eleanor. Can she do that?
10:11 am on January 2nd, 2012
No Way Sam!
10:15 am on January 2nd, 2012
Sam: I’m sure your mom is not trading you in. You’re much too cute.
Rose: Thank you. I’m going to see the film next week when my friend gets back from NY.
10:16 am on January 2nd, 2012
Barb and Maggie,
I’m thinking that I’ll do a calendar page each month. All I have to do is remember to do it. I think I can manage.
10:22 am on January 2nd, 2012
Chet: We are all invested in you keeping that resolution.
Sam: No…unless Eleanor’s mommy is willing.
OMD: Rose’s tongue!
Tyb: Great calendar pin-up.
Melanie, Spence and Audrey: I got a wonderful picture in the mail and my Plunderer’s dog tag! Thank you so much.
I received it last night after work although someone had picked it up Friday before Post Office closed. Words were spoken about that. Now I see a card from Texas has been surreptitiously place on my desk…hmmmm.
Barb and Maggie: Hurrah for no trees down!
10:27 am on January 2nd, 2012
Dawson is awake! Patsy was hit by a passing sunbeam and has faded into the sofa. The sunbeam has passed but she doesn’t seem to notice.
10:41 am on January 2nd, 2012
Tyb, We will remind you if you forget. What a great idea for 2012!
10:52 am on January 2nd, 2012
Good morning all. Our resolution is to get Mom & Pop more excercise by getting more walks and hikes.
Tyb, you are quite the good-looking pinup!
Those stray sunbeams are scary…knock you out in no time!
Macy’s steps for a peaceful life were great. We follow all of those except one: we really do complain about eating the same food every day.
Kat met another Sibe yesterday, when she went with Mom & Pop to pick up organic, pasture-fed chickens (frozen). This guy made Meashka look like a pipsqueak! But Kat says he was great fun to rassle with anyway.
10:54 am on January 2nd, 2012
And HELLO to Eleanor!!! You epitomize the Nation’s mantra of living in the moment.
10:57 am on January 2nd, 2012
Usually I sleep all day after my weekend 12 hour shifts. But for some reason I woke up bright-eyed and Mollypop-tailed this morning. Hope Mollypop’s mom’s hip is on the mend.
OleyHowlers: That must’ve been a huge Siber to make Meashka look small, but a gentle giant to rassle with Kat.
10:58 am on January 2nd, 2012
Good morning all.
Mama’s resolution is to get back to healthy eating (show season is a disaster of fast food and junk). This morning she had a protein/mango/almond milk smoothie- so one meal down, 1094 to go.
She also resolves to stop skipping meals cuz she’s “too busy ”
We are NEVER to busy to forget to eat!
Humans are weird!
11:25 am on January 2nd, 2012
Hello All, and Happy 2012. My New Years resolution is to keep my mommy and daddy indoors all day long, every day. I’m playing the lottery so they won’t have to got to work. Only problem is, I can’t leave the house to buy those tickets.
11:39 am on January 2nd, 2012
Saw this wandering facebookie and thought that it deserved a home here in memory of our beloved Mollypop. Your fierce fuzzbutt catching skills are unforgettable!
11:50 am on January 2nd, 2012
We are not into New Year’s resolutions, but we do like Chet’s.
TYB, Great calendar!
Jasper, That is perfect!
Hope Mollypop’s Mom is feeling better today.
11:53 am on January 2nd, 2012
A bit late, but I think some of you will enjoy this. Especially the kats.

12:04 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Thanks for the happy thought, Tyb. My New Years resolution is to convince my mommy that there is room for only one Kat (MOI) in this home. Pipsqueak and Buddy need to be Barn Kats.
12:10 pm on January 2nd, 2012
12:12 pm on January 2nd, 2012
This is Zelda. She is just a great dog, and belongs to the owners of the cottage where the Prof and I spent our Christmas week.
12:13 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Bear’s resolution: To follow Eleanor’s lead and Live in the Moment! It’s what the Nation Within does Best.
TYB: Yes, please – a calendar page for each month in 2012!
To Everyone: Good day to you all.
12:32 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Tweaking Chet’s resolution a bit: More of all the Best and the heck with the rest!
Rose: I thought for a minute you had a new friend. Zelda is beautiful with that right paw that looks like a sock.
Tyb: Calendar Dog! we ALL love our Calendar Dog. Thanks Rose, now that song is going to be going through my head all day long (lol)
Buddy: Where are you? Did you know T.C. is trying to have you ousted as top kat?
T.C. You and Buddy should be mates – why these bad feelings between you two?
Great pictures everyone!
12:39 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Masquers, I am in love with T.C., but it is unrequited love. Alas, she has been trying to ship me to the barn ever since Mommy brought me in. O well…I just let it roll off. She’ll come around one day.
12:44 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Zelda is gorgeous, and we also thought a big announcement was coming from Rose. Rose, the Prof should have gotten you a present similar to what our pop got our mom…a puppy…Kat.
12:49 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Jasper the Poodle: That is one well fed fuzz-butt!
Rose: Zelda is great. Her picture makes me want to give her a good scritching behind the ears.
MacyMinPin and her Mom: You should’na oughta done it but thank you for the beautiful card. I told the man in the house about it too. He says, “Huh?” (Sometimes it’s hard to get an intelligent word out of him, but this must be one of his “good” days).
1:19 pm on January 2nd, 2012
I had two dreams last night. Both of them made me wonder what I ate!
1st: My sister was mad at me but wouldn’t tell me why. She just said that I should know. This seemed to go on forever. Finally woke up. Wow, that was too much like being married! Snicker . .
2nd: I was trying to watch a film and couldn’t find a good place to sit. Either I couldn’t see or the projector was too loud. I did see some of my nice classmates from high school. Weird. Anyhoo, the projectionist saw me and said, “Aren’t you the Woman with the Birthmark”? I said yes and signed his card. Turns out I was a character on a “Magic” card game and my picture was of me (dressed in leather, my hair blowing in the breeze, looking quite good) with one hand on Patsy’s head. We were quite a pair.
Jeez Louise . . . Was it the rice? or the sparkling cider??
Zelda is also looking good, but I look better with Patsy.
1:28 pm on January 2nd, 2012
There’s a spooky short story by Hawthorne titled “The Birthmark.” I think it was the cider Melanie!
That is a picture of a fox squirrel. We have a lot of them around here. I had three in my garden this morning.
1:31 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Zelda is a good looker. I, too, thought she was wearing a sock.
1:41 pm on January 2nd, 2012
To Tyb:
I love, I love, I love my calender dog
Yeah, sweet calender dog
I love, I love, I love my calender dog
Each and every day of the year
(January) You start the year off fine
(February) You’re my little valentine
(March) I’m gonna march you down the aisle
(April) You’re the Easter Bunny when you smile
Yeah, yeah, my heart’s in a whirl
I love, I love, I love my little calender dog
Every day (every day), every day (every day) of the year
(Every day of the year)
(May) Maybe if I ask your dad and mom
(June) They’ll let me take you to the Junior Prom
(July) Like a firecracker all aglow
(August) When you’re on the beach you steal the show
Yeah, yeah, my heart’s in a whirl
I love, I love, I love my little calendar dog
Every day (every day), every day (every day) of the year
(Every day of the year)
(September) Light the candles at your Sweet Sixteen
(October) Romeo and Juliet on Halloween
(November) I’ll give thanks that you belong to me
(December) You’re the present ‘neath my Christmas tree
Yeah, yeah, my heart’s in a whirl
I love, I love, I love my little calender dog
Every day (every day), every day (every day) of the year
Masquers, now you and I will never be able to get this song out of our heads. No, it is the same Zelda. She is a Japanese Akita, who acts more like a teddy bear. She have a very lovely coat and 4 white socks!
OH’s: Alas, no puppy from the Prof. 🙁
Melanie: Woman With Birthmark is the title of a very good Nordic detective novel.
1:53 pm on January 2nd, 2012
We need some advice from all of youse Amazon Prime members. We just ordered Yummie Chummies and said “Yes” to the free trial of Prime. We know that gets us free shipping and instant videos. But looking at the free videos, we don’t see any newer movies. All the newer movies charge a rental fee it seems. So now we are wondering what we really get for the cost of prime. Please tell us what you think.
2:02 pm on January 2nd, 2012
We have SNOW!!! A foot and a half and maybe another foot to come. In addition, all the snow guns are going. Sam in Buffalo is 50 miles to the north and has some sprinkles on the grass. That’s all.
Siber-H – So sorry about taking back the snow that was really ours in the first place. I hope you got the snow gun for Christmas.
My hip has improved to the point that I can walk without a lot of pain. I’m being a Safety Patrol Host helping people with their skiing needs without going out on skis.
2:16 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Rose: Heh, heh. Now everyone can sing along with us.
Melanie: I like the dream of you as a character on a Magic card. Hmm…what if all the Plunderers could be characters on magic cards. We could be anything we wanted to be.
The Tongue – Looks like Ros is having fun.
Mr. Gray Squirrel makes an appearance every morning on the deck to get a drink of water. He is even so insolent as to peak in the sliding glass door, as if to taunt me. Let me at em!
2:16 pm on January 2nd, 2012
MP’sMom:
We could use some snow here in New York! I’m glad you are on your way back to feeling tip-top!
Belle: Tusday night, on Turner Classics, they are showing the film “Belle Starr.” This movie stars one of the most gorgeous actresses of the 40’s, Gene Tierney. Was that how you got your name?
2:18 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Masquers: Instant karma! We both posted at the same exact time!
2:31 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Howlers,
When I joined prime a few months ago, I wondered whether I was throwing my money away. The movies are mostly old ones, but I’ve found a few that I’ve watched. What I have enjoyed most is the availability of TV programs by the season. I can choose
something that interests me and watch the whole season in a few nights when I have time. I don’t have to wait for scheduling. This is a big plus for me because I haven’t had a television set since 1993 so I’ve missed a lot that is worth watching. I watch everything on my computer. If I interrupt in the middle of a program, I can come back later and pick up where I left off, and there are very limited commercials. Maybe one at the beginning of the episode and another at the end that I can skip. If it weren’t for the TV situation, I’d think twice before I renewed. I still may have to think twice because when it’s time to renew, I may have watched all I want to see. The free shipping for prime members shouldn’t be much of an incentive except for
Amazon shopaholics. I don’t think I could ever justify the annual cost in shipping fees that I save.
2:33 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Rose: Yep! We’re in sync.
Mollypop’s Mom: Hurray! The weather gods have answered your prayers. And, the pain is going away – even better!
B&M: Good to hear there was no damage from the wind. There is always that fear of power outages during a storm. One of our gifts this year was a lantern. A handy device for such times.
2:35 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Fellow Sibers, Mom joined Amazon Prime last October. A few plunderers on rhe blog were recommending it. We had to laugh when we found out what their free movies were. They are older than dirt and mostly “grade B” movies at the time they were released. We haven’t watched any.
Mom still loves Amazon Prime! She hates to shop so with just a couple of clicks merchandise is on its way from Amazon arriving within two days.
(whispering) Mom is spending more money on books since she joined Amazon Prime and she loves the way the arrive so quickly.
She doesn’t have an e-reader and so far doesn’t want one.
Isn’t it nice that our moms think of us first when they do the Prime trial. The first thing mom ordered from them when she joined were Yummie Chummies.
2:42 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Mollypop’s Mom, See, Didn’t I tell you that you would start getting snow when ours stopped.
No, I didn’t get a snow gun for Christmas. Mom made some lame excuse for Santa. It was too heavy for his sled or some such nonsense.
Glad you are feeling better. Take it easy on the hip.
2:49 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Putting in our two-cents worth re Amazon Prime.
As Siber points out, there is a less of a tendency to hesitate when ordering from Amazon. That 2-day shipping is just so convenient. TYB is correct that the movies offered are ridiculously old, but the tv series are not. We were able to see the first 3 seasons of Breaking Bad and the first 2 of Damages. And, TV episodes will continue to be updated. Don’t forget Amazon offers much more than books and movies, such as grocery items, kitchen and electronics & toys, to name but a few. All with 2 day shipping. Gifts can be sent directly to the recipient. Also, there are many Prime only offers on Kindle. Yes, I would say for us, it is definitely worth it.
3:39 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Rose: The way Luna’s dog, Belle Starr tells it, the woman known as Belle Starr is named after my Belle Starr. Not so. Belle Starr was born a week before the Outlaw litter in February, 2007. The Outlaws were all males so I named them after Outlaws and lawmen: Jesse, Frank, Younger, Pancho, Lefty, Wyatt and Doc. I figured you can’t have a James-Younger gang without having a Belle Starr. She was raised along side the Outlaws. The boys grew, she did not.
Melanie: I just sent Dan a SDD.
Popcorn! Bev is making AJ both of her special types of popcorn—almond bark and carmel. The carmel popcorn takes a long time to make. I’m convinced she loves him more than she loves me. (Insert Belle Starr-esque ‘hmmph’ here).
4:02 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Prime is worth it for us. We just have trouble getting out and doing “shopping”. It saved us from dealing with the malls. With my chronic illness my immune system is not what it should be so I’m able to get things without getting exposed to many many people with many many germs.
So when I do go out, I’m not as tired and I can be more mindful of taking care of myself.
Also, shopping here is pretty limited. I found some of the bestest and cooliest (snicker) stuff that I wouldn’t have been able to get any where around here.
4:03 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Popcorn…yum! I’m getting a whiff of it here.
Thanks for the history on Belle Starr’s name. Belle is still an Outlaw, being as she is always stealing hearts, and sparkly things.
4:03 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Also I was able to watch all of the Midsomer Murders through Season 10 for free. Now just waiting on Season 11 to get cheaper.
4:20 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Thanks to all of youse for weighing in on the pros and cons of Prime. We have DirectTV DVR, so we are able to watch whatever TV shows we want, when we want. We used to do Netflix, until they split the blue ray/dvd’s from the instant watch. We then went with just the instants, and have not watched any because they are all old, so we dropped it last month.
Like some of you, Mom and Pop buy almost everything from Amazon, unless they can buy it from a locally-owned place. Mom has not been in a mall in years…she thinks she is mentally allergic to them. So the free shipping is appealing, but we’ll have to think about the $79 yearly fee vs. shipping costs. Whenever we order from Amazon, we do regular shipping and it still comes in 2 days. Pondering…
MollysMom, so glad to hear about your snow. We still have green, growing grass here, altho it is getting colder out today and is supposed to be down close to 10 tonight.
5:06 pm on January 2nd, 2012
It is cold here today, but no snow. Thursday it may hit mid 40s again. Nice for traveling, but the snow plowers are having financial problems.
Neil Sedaka – Barb saw him in concert in the late 90s and he was very entertaining. He is a concert pianist I believe. That calander song is from Barb’s teenage years.
We no longer have a fuzzbutt in the yard. Guess he moved on. Barb is quite glad because I carried on like a lunatic when I could see him out the window. I had dreams of one day catching the little buggar.
5:15 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Zoë and I tried a new (for us) series tonight. “Wish Me Luck” Netflix Streaming
WWII England women recruited by SOE and trained to be a spy.
So far excellent.
5:18 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Shopping!… Someone came home with a big bag of winter type clothing this morning…sniff!sniff!…Boots! Mittens! Socks! Cool sunglasses!, Very cool fleece jacket! And long under ware?…wuffle…I wonder if this stuff is for the trip North to Alaska…snort! …She didn’t let me wuffle through the bag so I’m not sure…grunt!
Downstairs!… We love being downstairs while her mother and Beau are upstairs…snort!…. He comes down now and then to see what we are up to, but usually he stays upstairs. Fine with me!…sniff!… She finished going through papers and did all the filing. No quilling this afternoon. Me thinks someone needs a break from that….wuffle!
Dreams!…Melanie your dreams are quite weird, but interesting…heh!…For a second there I thought you were dreaming that you were Harry Potter…snort!
5:31 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Like Melanie, I like the Amazon Prime because I can get the things I need without going into the malls.
6:46 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Rio: It sounds like your friend made great strides for her trip north to Alaska. I did a bit of bargain shopping today. I found a beautiful skirt for $3 brand new. It’s huge but I can break out the sewing machine and take it in. Twirling!
7:00 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Bella, maybe you should keep it a bit big so you can fit some long johns and sweat pants under it.
7:03 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Melanie: This skirt is so big that if I could convince AJ to dress drag it would likely fit him. I will leave a little extra room for one of my newest favorite discoveries—fleece tights.
7:08 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Comfort!…No matter how many clothes my friend buys, she will never be warm enough up there in the North Country…grunt!
7:29 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Rio: As guest of honor, your friend will have the spot on the couch closest to the woodstove. And, don’t forget about the electric blanket.
7:34 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Riö’s friend is going to need one of those heated vests! (and socks and gloves)
Bella, what about a skirt and a couple of pillow covers?
Hmm, fleece tights? Might have to tell Zoë about those. Where do you find them?
I’m headed upstairs. TTFN
7:39 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Melanie: I found them at Target of all places.
7:48 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Mollypop’s Mom: I’m glad you’re feeling better.
7:53 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Mollypop’s mom: I hope your hip is feeling hip hop in no time 😉
7:55 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Did Someone here finish that book? No. Guess what we’re going to do. Catch you all tomorrow.
7:57 pm on January 2nd, 2012
P.S. Fleece tights sound kool. er…warm.
8:14 pm on January 2nd, 2012
I’m sure Snow Bella is giving Rio’s friend the best advice for Alaska. I can give advice for cold mountains, which may be the same. About the coldest it’s been when I was skiing was -16 degrees in Quebec. I wear layers that wick moisture away from the body. My first layer is very thin long underwear and I look like a Navy seal. Then next comes the Hot Chili’s which are a little thicker. Then a turtleneck and ski pants. The gloves are actually mittens, which are warmer because the fingers are together, and a must is a liner, again so there’s no moisture.
8:30 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Disaster!….Everything Rebeccer told my friend to get she could not find or they did not have her size…snort!…So she went for style instead…heh!…She’s gonna freeze her @ss off up there…honk!
8:33 pm on January 2nd, 2012
But she will look great doing it.
8:43 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Rio, have you friend check the Patagonia website. Their cold weather gear is fabulous. And it lasts forever!
8:45 pm on January 2nd, 2012
I have a question regarding amazon prime.Supposedly we are able to borrow books for free but my mom can’t figure out how. Any suggestions?
8:49 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Wolfie!…She would if she was a millionaire…heh!… Patagonia is sort of like North Face, very good but very expensive…sniff!…I think she is going for the “Cheap and Just Barely Keep You Alive” look…heh! …She’s very proud of the fleece jacket she found on sale for $15.00….sniff! …It will be a “Layer” eventually…wuffle!
8:53 pm on January 2nd, 2012
-16 below! We are getting chills just thinking about it. MPM, you are a woman to be admired!
We are reading a book, Water’s Edge, by Robert Whitlow. Has anyone read any of his books? This is the first that we have read. He is sort of in the Grisham stype of legal suspense. Not bad so far.
8:57 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Wolfie, Prime lets you borros books, one at a time, from a list that
looks pretty good. It includes 100 on the NYT bestsellers list. But you must have a Kindle. You go to the Amazon store on your Kindle, ans look for Prime customers lending library or something like that.
8:57 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Chilis!….MollysMom, she says she saw those ‘Hot Chilis’ and debated about them…snort!… I think she opted for something else that is supposed to keep moisture away from the skin and they were cheaper (of course)…heh!…I couldn’t tell you the brand name. They are still packaged because she has not tried them on yet…wuffle!…Shopping always does her in big time.
9:06 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Wolfie: We had the same question a while ago. I believe some books are only available for free if you have a Kindle device. We download our books onto the PC so this didn’t apply to us. If your mom has unanswered questions she can always call Amazon for help, which we ended up doing. Sorry we can’t be of more help, but we’re just getting the hang of this ourselves.
9:09 pm on January 2nd, 2012
‘nite all – Bear
9:20 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Wolfie,
To borrow a book from Amazon, go to their site, scroll down to kindle and a drop down menu shows “kindle lending library” Click on that and follow the cues. Good luck.
9:29 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Boomer!…. We are watching Baby Boomer with Diane Keaton…heh!…This is one of our most favorite movies ever. The whole Vermont country house and creating a business is an awesome dream for someone I know…sniff!
9:52 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Funny Rio, we are watching the same movie. It is from 1987, but still one of our favorites! The country house is gorgeous! Yellow like ours, but much more charming.
Night all.
9:52 pm on January 2nd, 2012
MagPie – If I have/want to ski at very cold temps, I know that the correct clothes will keep me warm and comfortable. I’m cold most of the time otherwise. It is all due to the modern technology that makes the clothes. In the old days my ski clothes were heavier, wet, and cold. Now they’re light and warm. Really.
10:12 pm on January 2nd, 2012
M&M!….I think you should go to Alaska and my friend should stay home…sniff!…You are very smart about the right clothing to wear in those extreme temps….snort!…My friend will lose all her toes, ear lobes, and fingers due to frostbite. I can assure you she will not be prepared for the weather…wuffle!
10:21 pm on January 2nd, 2012
If you say so, we will take your word for it.
Rio, Groundhog Day, which came on right after Baby Boom was over, was filmed in Woodstock, Il. Barb’s son lives there and it is a charming town. They made one of the restaurants on the square into the Tip Top Cafe, and took over a big Victorian home and turned it into the B & B. One of Barb’s coworkers got a bit part (non-speaking) in the film. Filming was the talk of the town for months.
Now good night, really.
10:24 pm on January 2nd, 2012
Justified!….OMG! We just saw an actual ad for Justified….snort!snort!…They say it will premier this month…sniff!…Which month are we in again? …wuffle! …OOOOhhh! I can’t wait. I love that show!…Wooooo!
10:28 pm on January 2nd, 2012

Rio: If you feel like you will freeze and your ear lobes are about to fall off—never fear— you can borrow my nice mushing parka. It willkeep you warm. It’s the same as AJs old parka. A few years ago when it was -50 we slept downstairs near the fire. In the night, the fire had burned low and cooled. AJ got up and covered me with his parka and I slept warm until the morning. We will make sure your are comfortable.

Miz MollyPop’s Mom – shure do hope yur feelin a powerful lot better.
Rio – still think you and your friend are just out of yur cotton pickin minds going up to that freezin cold place. No offense Miz Rebecca , but you all are plumb crazy! Give me a magnolia tree and a front porch down south any ole day!
