Chet And Bernie #5
The very last paragraph (subject to change, of course):
“I think I know the answer,” Bernie said. He picked up a flashlight, limped across the patio, and opened the gate.
Welcome friend from Watertown, NY.

Full Moon over Seattle
8:30 am on December 10th, 2011
Hi Maquers. Did you see the
ellipseEclipse?Your picture is beautiful.
Good morning all. ” . . limped across . .”? That does not sound like all things went smoothly.
But, when do they for our beloved duo?
C.Harris: Understand about your want for a different kind of present. Now that we’ve had to replace the van, dishwasher and the stove, we are going to have to replace the lawn mower next spring. We are saying nice things to the snow blower when we go out into the garage.
9:05 am on December 10th, 2011
Good morning. Sorta saw the eclipse here. Not as dramatic as on the west coast, we hear. Looked out and it was shadowy, then came back to the window a few minutes later and it was gone. It was supposed to take 51 minutes, but it has not reappeared, so maybe it has set.
C Harris, sorry to hear about your water heater. We hate having to spend money on that kind of thing.
Barb is off in a few to finish up her Christmas shopping. Just have a dvd of The Help and a few toys and we are done. She went to The Country Windmill, a cute little gift shop in town and found a real bargin. They had all these discontinued Beannie Baby type stuffed animals that were sponsored by Coke. They were really well made and originally $6.00. On sale for 50 cents! Barb is NOT a Beanie Baby collector, but she bought a dozen for little Jackson (2 1/2 yrs.) to play with. What a bargin!
Have a good morning! BBL

Yikes. #5 sounds noir-ish to this Kat. Gave me a chill. Congrats on getting to the end of a draft and thanks for keeping us in the loop, kinda.

Good job Spence. Congratulations! Now….why is Bernie limping….
Good morning all. (I saw the eclipse on tv.)
9:39 am on December 10th, 2011
Drat! Waiting patiently and hoping. It’s still dark outside (6:39 am) but now it is overcast. Unless it clears up very soon I will miss it. I did wake up to the light of the moon very early (no alarm needed), but not the eclipse.
9:42 am on December 10th, 2011
Good morning everybody.
My guess: “There, outside the gate, was a puppy that looked an awful lot like Chet, curled up fast asleep, with Bernie’s special steak sauce on his whiskers”
Cloudy here so lousy for eclipse viewing. I watched a simulation on the computer with the help of a program called Solarium. Not as psychologically satisfying as seeing the real thing.
BlueCat: An envelope addressed to Max will be sent as soon as I find 8 more cents of postage.
10:04 am on December 10th, 2011
Don’t know why Bernie is limping, but we’re betting that last paragraph has to do with Chet’s little look-a-like.
Barb&Magpie: Nana tells me she didn’t exactly “collect” beanies as have a few favorites. They are still sitting on the bookshelf. 50 cents! Remember what they used to sell for? Some of them in the hundreds of dollars range. Whatever happened with that anyway…wasn’t there some securities fraud business with Tyco causing devaluation of the popular product?
You are soooo on top of things with your Christmas shopping!
C.Harris: You are having a run of bad luck with appliances related to water. Hope this is the end of it and things go smoothly from now on. Not a good time of the year for unexpected expenses.
Hi, B: One more week to go?
Melanie: What was Zoe’s recipe for the stew Mac enjoyed yesterday? It sounded really good!
BlueCat: Our card is Max is going out today.
10:08 am on December 10th, 2011
“to Max”
Dawson, Story: Great minds think alike!
10:19 am on December 10th, 2011
I like Dawson’s guess.
Bear: Yes, two days in fact.
10:20 am on December 10th, 2011
Okay BSD, I started by skinning and defatting 3 chicken thighs. While I was doing that, I put in 1 cup of sushi rice into 2 cups of organic gluten free low sodium chicken stock. I added 3 more cups of water. (ended up needing more water)
I dumped in some frozen peas and frozen lima beans. Brought that to a boil. Through in the chicken thighs (bones still on). Let simmer for ever.
Now I peppered it, but prefer people to put their own salt on it. Zoë said that it needed salt and added some. Have no idea how much, but it didn’t taste salty.
Added the more water as the rice SWELLED! Delicious.
Now yesterday morning Zoe added sour cream and red Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce bottled by HUY Fong Foods. YSAS brought us some of this sauce and now has to bring it up each time he comes home. He gets it in Chinatown. We can also buy it here, but it’s much cheaper in NYC.
Whether it was the chili sauce or the sour cream, Mac just HAD to have it. Zoe wished she had a camera when she first caught him because the pot was upside down covering his whole head as he tried to get the last bits.
It was a large pot. He has a large head.

I read the ending of book #5.
I like Dawson’s speculation.
Masquers, I love your picture! Just gorgeous. Don’t forget about the book of photographs idea.
C. Harris: Sorry to hear about the bad run with your appliances. Sending some Plunderer good luck your way.
I have a small collection of Beanies myself. Mt favorite one is Felix the Cat. I also have a collection of stuffed Serta Sheep…I’ll never grow up!!!!

Hmmmm….pondering here. Maybe Spence is throwing us off the scent. We as reader’s are thinking Bernie’s is limping toward Chet Jr. Maybe not…….A mystery needs to be solved here.
11:26 am on December 10th, 2011
Hmmmmm…….I want to know what the question is. I don’t think it has anything to do with off spring. We should write down our guesses and read them after we have read the book. Which, by my calculations, is about 100 years from now.
Have we heard from Rebecca lately?
Good for you, Bee!
Mom wants Cody to come home. Dad does not. Mom is not happy.
11:47 am on December 10th, 2011
Yark! Today’s post Yark! It is going to be a long wait for the book.
Melanie, You guys had a pretty big mess to clean up, including the perp himself.
12:22 pm on December 10th, 2011
I don’t have Beanie Babies. I do have a few Teddy Bears though.
These Teddies are helping Mr.Staff out at the farm. They watch TV with him every day. snicker….
12:29 pm on December 10th, 2011
Alice: LOL! Nice bears!
Wolfie: Yes, where is Rebecca? I guess with the holidays, and getting ready for Iditarod ’12, she must have her hands full. I’m thinking your Dad really wants Cody to prove himself this time. After all you and your family have gone through, maybe tough love is the best thing right know. Will Cody be invited to come home for Christmas?
12:31 pm on December 10th, 2011
Belle Starr: I’m worried…where is your two-legged mama??
12:47 pm on December 10th, 2011
Wolfie: There no good answer that will keep everyone in the family happy. Momma Wolf worries – Papa Wolf is not convinced it will last.
Alice: Pretty neat line-up of bears!
Nana admits to having a “couple” of her own.
Rose is right. Some of us will never grow up.
Melanie: Thank you. It sounds very tasty. And, perhaps we ought to thank Mac too. If it hadn’t been for his little escapade we might never have gotten the recipe. Picturing him with the empty pot on his head – Priceless!
(Trigger & Franklin are so proud)
SnowBella: Where are you?
1:11 pm on December 10th, 2011
Rebecca: Where, oh, where are you??
Just received my flat postal box…Thanks so much!!
Looks like TMGs have been foiled again. HEH!
Please check your SDD when able.

Oh no, I hope we won’t have to rescue Bella!
Wait, she is with the Giant. She’ll be safe.
1:24 pm on December 10th, 2011
Rose: no.
The lady that the is renting a room from owes the electric company $1300, so Cody has no lights, no heat and no hot water. It is freezing in his house. Still, I suppose that it won’t kill him.
1:25 pm on December 10th, 2011
Alice Magnolia Johnson, I am impressed. That is quite a line up!
1:28 pm on December 10th, 2011
Wolfie, no it won’t kill him. YSAS had to deal with that except it was off in his apartment building and he was going to school at the time.
What a hard decision . . .
Weather in Bella land: 19 degrees, clear. Sun rose at 10:08 am and will set at 336 pm. Snow tonight and tomorrow.
Zoe is now upstairs after me telling her, you need to take care of yourself 87 times. She is now taking care of herself. She’s probably just hiding from me.

I’ve started reading The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo.
2:17 pm on December 10th, 2011
B: We have not read the books, but have seen all 3 movies (Swedish versions) Wonder what the US movie will be like…Hard to surpass the foreign films in our opinion.
Water for Elephants will be up next week in our Netflix queue. Is it better to read the book first before seeing the movie? Or, doesn’t it matter?
2:20 pm on December 10th, 2011
B: It was one of the best books I’ve read! I hope you like it. Have you seen the Swedish language version of the film? It is great, and the woman who played Lisbeth is terrific.
Are you going to see the American version?
2:36 pm on December 10th, 2011
Present and accounted for!
Rose: Belle Starr had hoped that I was away at a fancy mall she’s visited with you, buying her fancy things, but I was not. It’s been a busy week at work and the roads have been bad so I’ve arrived home later this week than normal—usually after everyone has gone to bed.
We had a labordoodle pup visit the office yesterday and she was wonderful.
B: I loved that series. At first, I had a difficult time trying to keep all the names of the towns straight, but they are very exciting books.
Melanie: Luna, in her younger days had a similar experience involving an ice cream carton.
I hope Stinky Mama is raking in the money at her show!

Shots!….My friend and Beau spend 2 ½ hours at the V-E-T this morning….snort!…..Someone was not very happy when she got home. It was not the way she wanted to spend all Saturday morning…grunt!….Beau was ecstatic that he actually made it home…heh!….All that waiting for him to have 2 shots and someone squeeze his whatsit….snort!… He didn’t like that V-e-t one bit either. My friend said when the doc finally came to see them, his tail unrolled and he immediately decided he did not trust that person…sniff!…So they had to have one of the big burly girls hold him while the doc checked him out…wuffle!….He is healthy but he does need to lose about 4 pounds…heh!heh!…Poor bastard. Is he in for it now!…chorkel!

She is trying to organize stuff after the big push to get the millions of little cards done. Paper is scattered all over the place…grunt!… After this it will be time to make a few Christmas presents …sniff!… She is all in a tither thinking she will never get it done in time….wheeze!

Boy, I’m way late today with the vote reminder. Had to go in to work early and I had an upset stomach all night and this morning. My dad boiled some chicken and white rice for me and I feel 1000% better. I feel for the poor guy. I woke him up 4 times during the night to take me out and each time it was a false alarm. I’ll try to go easier on him tonight.

Poor Beau! I’ll bet he thought he was a goner there for a minute. We sympathize with your friend – no fun doing project clean-ups.
I don’t know how all of you on the blog accomplish all you do.
Paws crossed Golinka is having a very successful show.
Tyb: Glad you are feeling better.
Rose: Are you at work?
3:01 pm on December 10th, 2011
Rio: As you said yesterday, wishing I could take credit, but alas no can do. It was too overcast here to see the eclipse so had to use photo sent in to Seattle tv station. Pretty kool though and it does look like my backyard.
3:02 pm on December 10th, 2011
Yahoo! We’re finally blasting snow. The temperature is in the 20’s and the snow guns have been going since last night. Hundreds of guns. The electric meter must be spinning like Clark Griswold’s when he plugged in the Christmas lights.
3:04 pm on December 10th, 2011
Macy, I can’t remember if I had responded to your post or not, but you are definitely on the Great Toffee List!
We are going to have to give the Dragon Girl books another try.
3:24 pm on December 10th, 2011
Wolfie, You just have to get beyond the first part of the first Dragon Girl book and then they get much more interesting.
3:35 pm on December 10th, 2011
Siber: Do you recommend reading the books even though we’ve seen the movies?
3:39 pm on December 10th, 2011
Well, tonight is the big night, mom and dad’s annual Christmas Party. Dinner for 25 this year. I’ll try to post pictures later of the table setting (maybe tomorrow) but I’ll share the menu with you now. The theme this year is Reveillon, which is a New Orleans tradition for celebrating Christmas. (One of their close friends from New Orleans died this year, and this is in tribute to him). Reveillon is derived from the French word for awakening and originally was a meal served after midnight mass on Christmas Eve. Families would return from the late-night service famished and set upon a feast prepared in advance and laid out on the table or sideboard. Traditional creole/cajun fare is of course featured.
Here is the menu (if I say so myself, I think mom outdid herself this year):
Hot Spiced Wine
Gougeres
Smoked Andouille
Peppered Beef Tenderloin
Cajun Peanuts
Shrimp Remoulade with Arugula
Southern Cream Biscuits
Horseradish Crusted Chateaubriand
Chicken & Smoked Sausage Gumbo with
Long Grain Rice
Southern Spinach
Maple Glazed Parsnips and Carrots
Fall Greens Salad with Spiced Pecans and Stilton
Cheese with Apricots
Pecan Pie with Bourbon Whipped Cream
Pierre Roux Cake
Buttermilk Lemon Chess Pie
Coffee, Tea and After Dinner Drinks
Lots of supervising for me to do, as well as meet and greet the guests. Mom got out my plaid bow tie for the occasion, so I will be properly attired. Should be lots of fun.
Wookie
3:49 pm on December 10th, 2011
Zoë and I are sending the Pack. They will have boxes under their chins for any leftovers there might be! That sounds like the best meal ever!
Just the other day Zoë had gumbo for lunch while waiting for the car to be greased. Chef Wayne’s Big Mamou, Louisiana Cuisine. She wants to pick some up for supper soon, but we weren’t sure of the non-gluten aspect. So I found them online and emailed them. YES!
3:55 pm on December 10th, 2011
Masquers, I don’t have an answer to that question because we have not seen the movies.
Yum, oh yum, Wookie.
3:59 pm on December 10th, 2011
Thanks all. I saw the foreign film version of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and plan to see the English version. I haven’t read the book Water for Elephants nor have I seen the film yet.
3:59 pm on December 10th, 2011
Wookie! What a Feast this will be!!! Three items that leaped off the page were: Gluhwein (a favorite family holiday drink) Horseradish Crusted Chateaubriand and Pecan Pie with Bourbon Whipped Cream. Lucky Dog!
4:00 pm on December 10th, 2011
Wookie, That is an impressive menue to say the least! Did your mom make all of it? Maybe Wolfie could blurr us all over for leftovers.
Wolfie, Not sure if your mama wants our advise, but we say you gotta keep papa happy. You have a longer history with him and you need to be united. Cody can move – he is not the one that owes the electric bill. He may be playing on your sympathies again. This is hard fo her, so give her some extra kisses.
4:10 pm on December 10th, 2011
Water for Elephants – Barb loved the book. Will be watching the movie soon. Read the book first if you have time. The book has more graphic animal violence than the movie – some of that was cut from the movie, and was hard to read. Think the movie focuses more on the human relationships. Loved the ending.
Wookie, We especially liked the fall greens salad, Chateaubriand, southern cream biscuits. What is the Pierre Roux cake?
4:12 pm on December 10th, 2011
I like the pink moon.
Sounds wonderful Wookie.
I voted this morning.
4:14 pm on December 10th, 2011
Glad you finally have snow Mollypop’s mom. It’s 28 here.
4:30 pm on December 10th, 2011
Masquers, Thank you for the moon photo. Our’s didn’t look anything like that. It was still a regular color, then it got sort of filmy and then was gone.
Barb bought The Help dvd for her daughter for Christmas. She decided she needs to open it and preview it, just to make sure it isn’t defective. heh. I know, it’s a little tacky, but her daughter won’t mind. Has anyone else seen it?
4:53 pm on December 10th, 2011
Barb&Magpie: Just watched The Help a couple of nights ago. We had been afraid it would be too stereo-typed, but let’s face it… times were a lot different way back when. Nana enjoyed it – not as much as the book, but it was very good.
Thank you for your advice on Water for Elephants – we will read it first.
Downloaded a e-book from Amazon called The Moonlit Mind. I believe it’s a prequel to 77 Shadow Street.
Too bad about poor viewing in most areas for the Eclipse. It won’t happen again for 3 more years.
B: Now will you have more time to catch up on your reading? Or will you be like TYB – busier than ever.
5:08 pm on December 10th, 2011
Bear, You mentioned times being different back then. I think The Help setting is 1964. 11-22-63 takes the character back to 9/1958 to start with. He was just talking about all the racial and ethnic slurs that were used then, and we didn’t even know the concept of politically incorrect. Won’t get into them on the blog, but do you remember a few months back when we discussed the term “gyped”. We didn’t realize the term “getting gyped” was an ethnic slur, and, actually, had never even though about the origin. That is one of the lesser ones he brings up in the book. Sorry Rio, but Barb is finding the book fascinating (but maybe a little long).
5:57 pm on December 10th, 2011
Bear: I don’t plan on being busy after I retire!
6:01 pm on December 10th, 2011
Don’t know if anyone is interested by “Bag of Bones” will be starting tomorrow night on A&E. Finishes on Monday. When I read the book it scared me the carpola out of me! I can’t stay up that late ( I know it’s not really late, but hey, it’s me) and I know they are showing it on the 18th in full during the day.
I’m hoping that it will be on line to view before that.
I’m going to scare myself silly!
6:02 pm on December 10th, 2011
B.
Neither did my dad, but it seems he hasn’t learned to say, “No”.
6:09 pm on December 10th, 2011
Rebecca: Sorry that Belle is disappointed, but happy to hear you are well and safe!
Masquers, I am not at work, For some reason, my avatar does not show up on this laptop I have at home! The Prof is using the desktop, where my avatar does come up on. Even though you can’t take the credit for it, that is a lovely picture of the eclipse.
Wookie: Yummy good!
Poor Beau. That was probably the biggest shock of his life.
Yes, Wolfie please give them another try. The books have a lot more of the political flavor of Sweden and Swedish life. The first book gives a lot of detail and family history, which the film does a nice job of bypassing without loss to the story.
Masquers and Siber: I read all the books before seeing the movies, but the Prof did the opposite. It did not ruin either the books or movies for him.
6:31 pm on December 10th, 2011
Sentence!….I am so hoping that Bernie is limping across the patio to open the gate for Chet’s Mini-Me!….Woooooo!…Pretty cool giving us the last paragraph instead of the first sentence this time…snort! …It is sooo far away. Although it seems Spencer is way ahead of where he was last year…sniff!… I wonder if he and the gang will be jetting off to The Islands again for Christmas this year!….wheeze!
Beau!….Well, that guy is really playing up the “Poor Me!” card today…grump!…He has been on her lap all afternoon…sniff!… She is trying so hard to get some Christmas presents made and there he is right in the middle of her legs on the Easy-Down!-Boy chair….grumble!…She never let me do that before…sniffle!….He seems to be so needy an starved for attention that I just try and ignore all of his transgressions…grunt!… It still bugs me though, so I am giving them both the Evil-Eye right now…gruffle!
6:35 pm on December 10th, 2011
Barb&Magpie: The term “gyped” – I am guessing its origins are with the gypsies. Strange how every ethnic group has now become so touchy.
How on earth do you read a hardcover of that size? You would almost need some way to prop it up. Will probably order it for Christmas for #1 son and then “borrow it”. Checking out the DVD is a good idea. We can’t be too careful about giving defective merchandise as gifts. lol.
SnowBella: You must be very busy making the little neck gaiters. It seems to be a very popular item.
Melanie: We read A Bag of Bones quite a few years ago. Yes, it was scary! A picture of the setting on the lake still haunts the memory. Watch most everything online here also. Will check to see if its available.
6:40 pm on December 10th, 2011
Festivities!….Wow, Debble LM is so amazing. That gourmet meal menu is making me incredibly hungry….wheeze!…. I hope Wookie remembers to take some photos for us poor peasants left out in the cold and not invited to the great annual feast…wuffle! …I think these guys here are going to have cheeseburgers and fries tonight…sneeze!cough!
6:44 pm on December 10th, 2011
What is Bag of Bones about? Is it by Stephen King?
TYB: I learned how to say no a long time ago!
6:57 pm on December 10th, 2011
Bear, Well the laugh is on Barb now. Evidently the new dvd IS defective. Either that or she is doing something wrong. She put it in, it brings up a screen that shows Eng, French or Spanish with a bullet point next to the English. Then it won’t advance further. She tried hitting pause, play, etc, but nothing happens. She put another dvd in and the player is ok. She is going to take it back and get another one. Probably will just leave it packaged and wait for Netflix. Bummer!
Yes, that book is a lot to lug around. Someone, maybe Siber, commented that it builds muscles, and that it true. She is only to about page 200, so 670 more to go.
7:07 pm on December 10th, 2011
B: That explains why you didn’t give heed to the idea of being the next president.
I am watching ‘Elf’ right now. It always makes me laugh.
7:13 pm on December 10th, 2011
Rio – Since Beau is so starved for attention, well then, he needs attention. It sounds like he’s soaking it up and that’s a good thing.
7:16 pm on December 10th, 2011
Elf!….Beau and my friend watched “Elf” at the V-E-Ts in a little cold gloomy room on a tv with no sound…grunt!…All morning long…sniff!…She hates that movie now..heh!
7:22 pm on December 10th, 2011
Soaking!….Oh, he is soaking in the attention MollysMom…snort!…He is utterly basking in it…grump!
7:24 pm on December 10th, 2011
SnowBella: We loved Eli! I had forgotten all about it. Nana was not happy when it was cancelled…mumbling something about “all the good ones.”
Barb&Magpie: Well, it was a good thing you checked the DVD, but now not only she didn’t get to see it, but has to go back to the store. Bummer.
B: Yes, Bag of Bones is a Stephen King book. It’s been a while so I’m a little vague on plot, but it’s about an author who is suffering from writer’s block – hence the title reference to bones.
7:28 pm on December 10th, 2011
Hey! Rio: Beau was just at the top of the page. He is getting lots of attention now.
Okay. You guys are talking about ELF, the movie. Not ELI, the tv series.
8:00 pm on December 10th, 2011
Hamburgers!….slurp!….Beau and I begged and begged and we finally got a Bit O’ Burger….woooo!… When we tag-team-beg it always works…heh!… Now he is in her lap again!…grump!….That guy is quick as hell when it comes to grabbing a lap.
Rebeccer!….How are the training runs going and has Junior been advanced to lead yet?….sniff!…Well, one can hope and dream….
8:12 pm on December 10th, 2011
Bones!….Bag of Bones sounds very interesting….snort!….We definitely want to try and watch that show…snuff!…It’s been ages and ages since we’ve watched or read a Stephen King story…wuffle! ….Some one says she thinks she can handle being scared to pieces now because she has two snuffling pugs in her room and then her mother in the other room…heh!….As if Beau would be any help at all in protecting her from anything…chorkel!
8:40 pm on December 10th, 2011
Nana, we agree with you, yes for Eli, really liked that show.
Not sure about Bag of Bones, might be too scary for us.
Rio, is there room for two on her lap at once? Youse guys aren’t all that big.
8:52 pm on December 10th, 2011
Well, this show gives a whole new meaning to ” there’s no business like show business”. As in there has been no business today. Sigh.
We never say die until the last hour on the last day of the show. But we have been known to whimper softly to ourselves.
We are probably doing as well or better than mist, but it takes every bit of salesmanship we can muster. Then one lady kept us monopolized for almost an hour wanting the most minut details on a particular, rather expensive item – then finally said, “ok, just wondering – I’m not buying anything today”.
Yes, we did prevent Leonard from chasing her down the corridor, but it involved duct tape and a bribe of chocolate/peanut butter cookies.
We saw her doing the same act at another booth that has very nice items, so Leonard did get his revenge. He went to all the booths in front of her and told them what she was doing, and none of those artists gave her the time of day when she got to them.
How boring does your life have to be when you get your kicks out of going to an art show and busting artists, blocking up their booths and monopolizing their time?
Wish Chet was here to grab her by the pants leg – that would have closed HER case!

Big!… snort!… We are big and We are bad. Bad to the bone…snuffle!… Have you ever lifted or held one of us guys on your lap before Barb?…heh!…Life has new meaning when you’ve actually let one of us sleep on you or near you for any length of time…chorkel!
Golinka!….Way to Bust Her Chops!…snort!… Amazing way to garner attention. I thought Beau had some tricks up his sleeve, but that lady takes the golinka cake big time…sniff!

Golinka: Grumble…I’m glad the Storyteller was able to warn other artist before she struck at their booths. If needed, Belle Starr (and Luna) can blur a cheesecake to you, but only in the last hour on the last day of the show.
Rio: Junior isn’t lead, yet. He is still learning, but it takes every position in the team to get to the finish line.

Wookie’s handsome face is at the top of the page right now. I bet he is showing his guests a great time.
9:54 pm on December 10th, 2011
wookie and his folks are indeed the ultimate hosts. When Mama gets rich and famous, she is going to ask the even more famous Debbie LM to cater a party and Mama is going to jet all the Plunderers and Bernie and Chet and Spence and, oh all right, Admin too, to a place of their choosing for a banquet. Of course we will hire many, many chefs to do the actual work- we want Wookie’s mom to be able to enjoy the party
Ok- nobody get any older until the day when we can afford this, agreed?
10:15 pm on December 10th, 2011
Reunion!…. Golinka, that is a favorite dream of mine too…snort!.. To be able to get all the Plunderers together for a big party and sumptuous feast!….sniff! ….Something like what Debbie and Wookie’s Paw does every year…wheeze!…OH What fun we would all have…heh!
10:15 pm on December 10th, 2011
T&G: That sounds like a great plan. Count me in. Once I achieve independent wealth, I’d be happy to chip in for the Plundererpalooza.
10:45 pm on December 10th, 2011
Staff says that we are in on the Plunderers Reunion and Parteeee.
Whoop.
Now all we have to do is become very very rich. It will be a blast!
Hmmm if we have it at a bookstore can Spence write it off? Would a bookstore have enough room? I know that Uncle Edgar’s wouldn’t. They have books everywhere. On the shelves, in front of the shelves, between the shelves in boxes. Heh.
Fun to go to though.

Alice!….I don’t remember inviting you!….snort! … Awwww, well if it ever happens you will have to come with AbbieTheKat I suppose…sniff! ….Just make sure Abbie leaves her Quilt at home. No testing at the party…sniff!
Bulldawg!…Did I happen to mention that my friend and Beau got to see a 70+ pound bulldawg today at that V-e-ts office?…snort!…She was HUGE! They were carrying her in from the car. I wonder if she was too fat to walk!…wheeze!
11:21 pm on December 10th, 2011
70 pounds! That is more than the majority of our dogs.
11:31 pm on December 10th, 2011
Seventy-Plus!…. This big-girl bulldawg was being carried in by the burly girl, the one who held onto Beau during his examination…snort!… She was struggling under the weight making her way to an exam room with the lump of lard when someone yelled out, “How much does she weigh!?”….sniff… Well the burly girl turned around and came back towards the scale. At this point my friend felt sorry for her but then the people who owned the bulldawg shooted out, “She’s 70 pounds!”….heh!… Both Beau and my Friend think she weighed more than that. The burly girl decided to turn and head for the exam room….wheeze!

Goodnight! …. Sleep tight and do not let the Bed Bugs Bite…snorkel!….This is the latest Beau has ever stayed up since he has been here…heh!…What a wimp!

We are IN N’awlins. It took us 20 minutes to get past Bourbon St. Whatever were all those people DOING at 1 a.m.? Heh heh. The street was packed and there is nothing special going on.
As you can see by the time, It is way past Dark Thirty, so I think I will call it a night. Or a morning. Whatever

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my apple ipad and tested to see if
it can survive a twenty five foot drop, just
so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views.
I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
