C&B Short Story How-To

There are 4 Chet and Bernie short stories available only in digital form. This leads to lots of pointed communications from people who don’t have e-readers. Don’t despair! Here’s Mrs. Publicist’s advice: “We’ve had questions about how non e-readers can read the stories. The answer is: many ways! If you have an iPhone, Android, or any other smartphone — download the Kindle, Kobo, Nook or Apple iBooks apps and you can buy it through the app. You can also download Adobe Digital Editions (for free!), then download the ePub version of the book (why not from Simon and Schuster?) and read it on your computer. You can even print it from your computer!”

Good morning everyone! OFA, thanks for the “e” info for the C&B short stories. (Still a little too technical for us.)
One Monday closer to Christmas. Enjoy.

It seems to me that the best solution would be to have the short stories published, perhaps in one volume.

    Good morning all.

Good morning and I agree with B. What a neat stocking stuffer that would be.

I just caught up on posts since Friday. Staff, love the trees. Glad you are putting stuff back out. Your parents would want that. It must be nice to make a quick quilt to match a tree! Mom ended up with an antique quilt as her White Elephant gift (we did gifts at Thanksgiving since a larger group was at our house.) Way past our budget restrictions but Mom’s sister selected things she owned and wanted to rehome since her dogs are not particularly nice to fancy things in the house.

Bluecat, guess we were wrong about the 2 sentences.

More later. Mom must get busy at work.

I have been having computer problems since last week. Consequently, my laptop had to go to urgent care at Best Buy. I just picked it up last night…Keeping my fingers crossed!

I agree with HRH,B about having the C&B short stories published.

Yesterday, Grizz and I went to the 50th anniversary screening of “Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner.” What a great film! I saw it with my family when it was first released. The subject matter is still relevant today. It was the last film that Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy made together. It was also Spencer Tracy’s last film. He died 17 days after filming was complete.

    Good day to all!

P.S.- Staff can you e-mail me the picture that you posted of Henry by your little Christmas tree? Thanks!

Everyone–I agree with B. Some of us just like books we can hold in our hands.
On my way to give a Final.

Diane, good luck with the final. Did you find an outfit for the trip to LA? Scratchers to Edgar and Miss Pretty.
We agree with holding a printed version.
