Calling All Cars!

Looking for a title for the Chet and Bernie novel that will come after HEART OF BARKNESS.

Any thoughts?

Good morning everyone. Oh my think of another title? Before we even know where Heart of Barkness goes? Be still my seething brain.

How about “Hard Tails” (after Charles Dickens’ “Hard Times”).

    Good morning all.

    Or “A Dog’s Tail” after Mark Twain’s A Dog’s Tale.

In case it was a real question (from yesterday), “ad hominem” is from the Latin, “argumentum ad hominem,” which is a logical fallacy. It occurs when a person is being attacked rather than the topic being debated.

RIO! Dreams! Sometimes I equate dreams with what I eat for dinner the night of the strange dream. Does Friend remember what she ate the night of the eyelash-less Dawson dream? Also, I almost always dream in black and white…What about your Friend?

Titles! How about “Dog and Punishment?”

    Good day to all!

    Belle Starr: :^) Love it!

W’s & T’s Paw: I actually wrote your suggestion down this morning! :^)

    Some other suggestions:

“Brave New Dog” (maybe this would be the story of the puppy who looks like Chet)
    “Barks of Wrath”
    “Of Dogs and Perps”

Barks!…Barkness was just used in a title, so therefore….snort!

One!…I can only come up with one so far: “A Hard Days Bite”…sniff!

    I know this game!
Hello dear blog family–I’m so glad I popped in today (still recovering from an overworked January).
I LOVE “Canine Able” “Bellestarriswonderful” and ALL the others, really. I still harbor a fondness for “The Spy Who Licked Me” though I’ve given up on seeing it used…how about “Game of Bones” or, since Bernie’s coming out of his coma (he is, right? or will he be out?) “In Search of Lost Time”?

Is there ANY information about what happens in the new one? Is Iggy involved? Are additional Dickens references appropriate? (“Chet and Son”) or just “Barking Bad” ( forgive me if someone else has already suggested that).
I SOOO wish I didn’t have to write exam questions right now…

Oops–Please ignore my comments about A La Recherche…I neglected to read ALL the instructions–that this was for the next one AFTER Heart of Barkness (it’s like eighth grade all over again…)
    Back to thinking. And working…
