First he gets beer, now champagne. We are never going to get him out of New England.
Good morning everyone.
Watched a good movie, Princess Kainlauni, that we had gotten from Netflix, soon to be Quikster. About Hawaii in the 1890, and U.S. involvement. Very well done, except that the beautiful young actress had so much collagin in her upper lip that we had trouble concentrating on the story line. Did that ever happen to you? It was sort of a Chet moment.
BSD, we need for you to go on Dishlickers and give your mailing address. Thought we had it from when you mailed the patches, but no. We would like to get your cookbook mailed today. Let me know when you send it. Our P.O. is open till 11:00 today.

More bad news to report on Jamey Rodemeyer’s suicide over bullying which has gotten national attention,. He was in the Williamsville school system, where Sam lives and where I moved from. It’s a northern suburb of Buffalo. Last night was the school’s homecoming and Jamey’s sister went to it. Some other students harassed her and said they were glad Jamey’s dead. What is the matter with these kids? This makes me sick.
9:12 am on September 24th, 2011
Molly, I don’t know what is wrong with these kids. I really don’t remember kids being this mean when I was young. Maybe some mild teenage cattiness, but not like today. There is a theory that all the texting, tweeting, FB, etc sort of desentitizes them, so everything is impersonal. Got to be more to it than that. Where is the empathy and feeling for another person? I grew up with the basic pearls of wisdom – do unto others, how would that make you feel, if you can’t say something nice… etc. Don’t kids get this at home anymore?

Bear, Never mind, found the address!

Good morning Plunderers! We are already busy here this morning. (Jeez, lady, take a chill pill.) Mom has made a grocery list, has to go to the library, gas up the car, stop at the post office, then head to my BFF’s house in Grand Rapids. I’m going to play in the yard with Obi and Cubbie, mom is going to mush up tomatoes and put them in a jar. She can keep all those tomatoes. I don’t particularly care for the things. Except they are round, and roll, and I could chase them…

Spence: Have another good festival. (I’d like to hear about them rather than just get the announcements.)
Good morning all.

Here in MA it is ILLEGAL to harass or bully another person. Schools are now required to inform students how to deal with bullying and schools must make sure it doesn’t happen in their environment. This is from two recent suicides here in Western MA.
As a teacher, my students soon find out that being just rude in my classroom was one way for me to be the meanest teacher in the world. You see, if one student was bullying that meant the others that didn’t say anything were culpable as well. I even told a teacher off when I heard that she was laughing at students bullying another student in her class. That was 30 years ago.
There also has been bullying in our family in my sons’ generation. Needless to say, my generation went to the school officials and told them if they did not stop this, the DA would be called. The bullying for the cousins stopped.
I do not understand why young adults and children feel that is OKAY to bully. Sometimes the parents are to blame, but not always. Schools? Sometimes, Peers? Sometimes.
But there seems to be a lack of “standing up” for the little guy. This is something that used to happen. I’m glad to say my guys have both been detained after school for sticking up for the little guy. Of course, in YSAS that didn’t mean the little guy was smaller than he was, usually the opposite.
So I have no idea what’s going on with our society, but we seem to have become a society of me, me, me, me, me, me . . .

I’ve done some research on my Kindle Here is Chet about his ears:
“Cynthia was looking at me funny. ‘I’ve never seen a dog like that before.’ ‘Like what?’ ‘His ears. One’s black and one’s white.’ Bad manners, commenting on someone’s appearance like that….I decided then and there I didn’t like Cynthia. One look at Bernie and I could tell he didn’t either” (DOI 16).
Chet about his paws:
“Oops. Was that me standing up, my front paws on Bernie’s shoulders, almost pushing him off the log. Yes, my paws for sure, nice and big, one mostly black, one mostly white. A mistake and I corrected in immediately.” (Bernie had just mentioned going on a wild goose chase. “I’d waited so long for this moment, wanted to go on a wild goose chase more than anything” (Dog Who 78).
Love it!

Good Morning to All!
Belle: I saw you up on the top right before I wrote this, alongside my Akita friend Zelda. You are certainly the “Belle” of the blog. I hope you’ve been watching over your two-legged mom while AJ has been away.
B: Hope you are feeling better. And, yes, it would be nice to hear about Spence’s actual appearances.
Mollypop and B&M: The Prof and I have many discussions about kids, and their parents. Both of us are from the “old school” in which our parents taught us good manners, respect, and the basic “treat others as you would want to be treated”. That is what we live by today as adults. If parents were more involved with their kids, and the kids more socialized (no I-phones, X-boxes, Facebook etc),I don’t think we would have as many issues with kids and schools as we do today. Wahtever happened to reading a book, playing Monopoly, or just using your imagination once in a while????
10:14 am on September 24th, 2011
Oh…it is so good to be home, though not for long. I’m on the long shift this weekend. My back is hurting pretty bad from an old MSI exasperated by driving too many hours. I could call in sick. Naw…I’ll put some rub on it.
Wookie: The cookbook could be sitting in the PO right now as I haven’t checked mail since Wednesday.
OleyHowlers: Praying for sunshine…or at least no rain.
Jasper: Yum! Tomato something in a jar! I’m having a tomato, zucchini, onion and cheese omelet before work. Garden fresh.
10:21 am on September 24th, 2011
Melanie: You are so cool. Bullying did exist before all the latest technology and the way to stop it is to always stand up and call the bully on it. Every time. I do wonder if manners are even taught to children any more. Remember Emily Post?
10:24 am on September 24th, 2011
Hello, Plunderers. My wife mentioned that she had shared with your group our visit to see the horror classic, “House of Dark Shadows.”
It brought back a lot of good memories of running home from school, grabbing a quick snack, doing my homework (I’m not sure if that is memory or revisionist history), and sitting down in front of my black and white (soon to be color) TV.
The movie was much more violent than the TV show ever was, and Jonathan Frid made a valiant effort at remembering most of his lines. I’m still getting over my crush on Kathryn Leigh Scott (come on guys, ‘fess up).
Ro and I saw the film in an old theater in Tarrytown N.Y., where they were raising money for the local Tarrytown Historical organization. After the film, we stopped at a very ‘modern’ ice cream parlor, enjoyed some delicious home-made (is that right when you buy it in a store?) ice cream, and then we headed home for some post-movie nightmares.
All in all, a lot of fun with the missus.
Thanks for sharing your memories of our cultural history.
Did anyone notice the final scene of this film (after the credits) and the typical Dan Curtis production values that the final ‘special effect’ required? Brrrrrrrrrr…….
The Prof
10:38 am on September 24th, 2011
Hi Prof! Cool review. Umm, I was not allowed to watch “Dark Shadows” and have never seen the movie. Not sure I want to at this point. 🙂
I did take a second look when you wrote, “Ro and I saw the film . .” I read it as Riö!! Laughing here.
10:39 am on September 24th, 2011
Here are a couple of little “pearls” I heard from my Mom over 50 years ago that seem like yesterday: If you are eating at someone’s home and they have something you don’t like, either say no thank you, or better yet, take a no-thank-you-helping (very small). Never say “I don’t like that”. Surprising how many adults I hear say that today.
Second, if someone asks for your opinion on something they are wearing, if they haven’t bought it yet, be totally honest. If they already bought it and are wearing it, think of something nice to say, even if it is not very becoming – color, style, something positive. If they bought it they obviously like it, so be nice.
Do you think parents tell their kids these things today? I don’t think kids are aware of others feelings, or just basic rules of polietness.
10:47 am on September 24th, 2011
B. – How are you feeling today?
11:06 am on September 24th, 2011
Rose and Mollypop: Thank you for asking. I’m feeling better.
Nice to hear from the Prof! I didn’t see the movie.
In all of my years of teaching I’ve only seen one case of bullying and that was outside of class. (In college class rooms students given to bullying early understand that they aren’t as smart as they think they are and the other students stand up to them. I think Dawson’s solution is spot-on.) In the case of the bullying I saw, the bully’s mother is full-time staff at school. Thus, the student is going tuition-free. I reported it to our Associate Dean and he worked with the student. My personal solution to bullying is that the bully, after being reported on several occasions by several people, should be sent on active military duty.

Barb&Magpie: I see you found the address. Another package to look forward to arriving in the mail!
We agree with you about teaching The Golden Rule to our children and continuing to use it as adults.
Melanie: You taught your boys well.
B: Thank you for the research on Chet’s physical features. I hadn’t remembered the mention of the white ear from the first book. We first saw it on the TFAT book cover – at least on the online versions – it was not on the actual book that was for sale. It is even more upsetting to me why Chet is portrayed as he is on the new cover. Are the publishers trying to make him more “cuddly”? It’s just wrong!
Staff’s link to the bscaresue showing Tatoo is more like the Chet I imagine. Which reminds me – I have yet to send my description of Chet to Melanie….
O.Howlers: Wishing you sun breaks today!
11:31 am on September 24th, 2011
When the boys were younger, we came across some really bad parents. Parents who allowed their teenagers to drink and smoke weed at home, who let their kids run wild. What they did with their kids was their business, but what they did with my kids was my business. I can’t tell you how many times I called the parents and said “What the blank were you thinking?”
Most of these parents were or are drug addicts and alcoholics. They weren’t able to be effective parents because they were fighting their own demons. I noticed 2nd and 3rd generations of people who were lost. Most of these kids were the bullies and the troublemakers. Now most of these kids are addicts and have been in and of jail. Many of them have babies, and a whole new cycle of poverty begins.

Bear: Is Nana feeling better today?
Howlers: Hope all goes well.
I think that Spence kept his description of Chet intentionally vague. To me breed or combination thereof is not important. Chet’s personality is what counts. Don’t let an artist’s rendition of Chet bother you. Anna Dorfman got carried away on the fourth book cover.
12:13 pm on September 24th, 2011
B: Thanks for asking – Nana is feeling better – the visit to you know where did the trick. How about you? You seem more yourself today also.
Did you know today is National Punctuation Day? What punctuation mistakes most irritate us?
About the book cover. I have the series together on the book shelf and they do look….very colorful!
Finished the book last night. A nail bitter to the very end. Wonder what Spence will write about next?
12:32 pm on September 24th, 2011
Wow Spence is venturing out of MA.
Thank for the review of the movie, Prof. Mom says it brought back memories.
If a dog is a bully at the dog park, pressure is put on the dog’s owner by the other two-leggeds there to remove the dog immediately and told not to come back. It works because some of the dog moms there can be rather unpleasant. I’m not naming any names.
12:36 pm on September 24th, 2011
I personally think that punctuation is a necessary evil. (“Evil” probably because I’ve had to teach “proper usage.” That becomes very boring very quickly.)
All of the book covers in the Chet and Bernie series are attractive I think. (That’s their purpose I suppose.) I do like the first three, with C&B in shadow, better than the fourth.
I’m laughing at “You seem more yourself today” and wondering if that’s a good or bad thing. (Just kidding.)
12:39 pm on September 24th, 2011
I’m glad both Nana and Stover are feeling better.
I hope my Fellow Siberians are scoring a lot of dropped food and that it isn’t raining on the reunion.
12:39 pm on September 24th, 2011
And it’s still my opinion that Suzie does not belong on the cover.
Plunderers: I think we have to consider something. If Spence does a great deal of traveling, he won’t have time to write.
12:42 pm on September 24th, 2011
Thank you SH. I think the way the moms handle the bullying dogs at the dog part is excellent.
We have not heard from Gus and BooBear for a while nor from TYB for a very long time.
12:50 pm on September 24th, 2011
Siber-H: Bullies of the two-legged variety always seem to have their little group of so called admirers in tow. Those in the human population rarely speak up to defend the victim (if they are even present to observe the abuse) unlike those doggie parents at your dog park who refuse to up with such behavior. You can be very proud of your mom.
12:58 pm on September 24th, 2011
B: Being B.Stover. Always a good thing in my opinion.
BBL – Going out to enjoy the day!
1:28 pm on September 24th, 2011
Bear, Your package is on its way! Funny story about mailing it – Barb went to the post office and clerk helped her pick out the right size envelope. Told her to address it, then when Barb tried to slide the cookbook inside it wouldn’t fit. Of course if she had gotten the sprial that she thought she was ordering, instead of the 3 ring binder, no problem. The clerk is the one that told her which one to use, so she split it open on one side, repacked it, taped the h*** out of it, and off it went. Anyway, when you see the messy envelope, you will know how it all happened.
Barb was talking about the bully problem with her daughter this morning. They interact a lot with their kids, have meals together, talk to each other, things that many families today do not do. Many people sort of live side by side in the same house, but don’t really communicate with each other. Kelly’s kids, 5, 9 and 12,are not allowed to have cell phones yet although most of their friends do (at least the 2 older kid’s friends).
2:28 pm on September 24th, 2011
I’m making granola and also banana nut bread. (I think that the steroids are making me hyperactive. The only problem with that is I’m doing everything except class prep. Good thing I’m only on them for five days.)
Thank you Bear.
Barb: I often see students (college of course) on cell phones with their parents. That really irritates me for some reason. Today’s parents do seem to “hover.”
2:47 pm on September 24th, 2011
Bee, you have a point there. Perhaps PA can do the traveling, which means that Spence can stay home and write.
Mom and Dad are ging to a tomato festival today. I am not sure why mom is so excited.
2:52 pm on September 24th, 2011
I’m going over to B.Stover’s house. Yummers.
MagPie: the MG will have a hard time getting into that package!
NEWS! October 1st Spencer reading is at 7 pm, 2 hours away. I have figured it all out!
Our cars, at the moment, won’t make it as far as that so we are renting a car, YSAS is taking off before filming to come home and drive Dan, ZoĂ« and me! Jesse is watching the dogs. We’ll head off to see the fall colors and have a nice dinner and then see Spencer!! Cool-ee-o-neat!
2:56 pm on September 24th, 2011
I have been accused of ‘hovering’ with YSAS. But it’s sort of difficult not talking to him each day since I’m also his manager.
I take the criticism with a grain of salt. I notice he’s working. That is what a manager is supposed to help their client to do. (sorry about the prep ending, B.Stover_

Prof!…Hey, the prof checked in…sniff!…My freind was only about 3 years old when she saw the movie, so no she does not remember the final final scene after the credits…grunt!…I hope he comes back and tells us about it though…snorkel!
Arsnic!….and Old Lace!…snort!….That’s what we started watching after she organized all her miles and miles of colored paper strips after we were finally able to come downstairs …huffle!….What a great old movie. Cary Grant is hilarious…heh!

I’ll have to have mom help me post the link when she gets home from the festival.

Melanie: (Whispering) When you see Spence ask him when he’s starting the next Chet and Bernie mystery. No pressure on him, of course.
Rio: Any hint about what the new project will be?
3:54 pm on September 24th, 2011
Hey Riö, YSAS was in Arsenic and Old Lace in high school. He played Jonathan Brewster. I’ll try to find the picture of him. He looks wonderfully mean.
Right now, I’m upstairs supposedly cleaning. hmmmm. I’ll ponder THAT some more.
4:05 pm on September 24th, 2011
Arsenic & Old Lace – A classic and personal fav of Nana.
Rio: You were right on about Breaking Bad. Humorous, Chilling, nothing like I’ve ever seen. The only series that even comes close is The Wire – The acclaimed HBO series from a couple years back. Have you seen it? We are now on Season 3 of Breaking Bad. It took a couple of episodes to pull us in, but now we are devoted fans. Not for the faint of heart however.

Rio: I’ll see if the Prof will sneak back in, and fill you in on the ending…Did your friend do any work on her project? I’m still tallying hours. When might we see a picture of the work in progress?
4:49 pm on September 24th, 2011
Season-3!… Of Breaking Bad was quite a ride!…snort!… Those Brothers will curl your toes backwards…grunt!…Amazing writing, directing and acting…wooo!
Brewster!… Of course Clarkson was Jonathan Brewster!…heh!…Boris Karloff wasn’t too bad in that role…chorkel!..I would love to see the photo of Clarkson looking mean…snort!
Baseball!….Now that the old movie is over, I am watching the Red Sox vs Yankees…snort!….She is listening to it because she is actually putting together some of the billions of pieces she has made this last week…gruffle! …Did the Red Sox win yesterday??..sniff! …( 3 to nothing – Yankees! Yeep!)
4:53 pm on September 24th, 2011
Barb: Nana did read When Will There Be Good News. She likes all the Kate Atkinson books, although she has not read them in sequence. Is Case Histories the first in the series with these particular characters?
4:54 pm on September 24th, 2011
Yeep!…What a great photo of Clarkson as Brewster… heh!… I love it! Wow!…chorkel!
Rose!….She’s been working on the project since we came downstairs, but there is nothing really to show for it yet….grunt!…The Yankees are hanging the Sox out to dry while I type this….yeep!snort!yeep!

First look at the new “Dark Shadows” cast…
5:05 pm on September 24th, 2011
Sox!… Heck, its only the 3rd inning so maybe the Boston Boys will calm down and figure it out…snuffle! …Rose, my friend set up a new area to work on her project. She found a great old bendy type lamp that is really bright and a flat work surface down here under a high window…sniff!…Although, her mother covers all the windows outside so it doesn’t really let in much helpful light. She’s got her comfortable computer chair and has moved all kinds of stuff over there to work…chorkel!…But now she is watching the game with me! …heh!
5:08 pm on September 24th, 2011
OMG!…That cast looks Great! Very authentic, if you ask me…heh!
5:11 pm on September 24th, 2011
Here is a picture of how we think Chet looks (but with one white ear). This dog has the size and intensity that would be intimidating to other people. Melanie, we will also email you the photo. Don’t know where the picture came from, but as soon as mom saw it, she thought “that’s what Chet looks like!”

5:16 pm on September 24th, 2011
Rose: I usually eat bn bread plain or with butter and/or honey. I’m having it tonight with tea.
Barb: The Atkinson book is on my iPad but I haven’t started it yet.
Jonathan Brewster looks very mean!
5:16 pm on September 24th, 2011
Lester!…What’s wrong with Lester today?…gulp!… I think he will be gone soon, actually Gone right now… wow!… Unbelievable. I thought with him pitching they would pull a win out of this…grunt!…Lets see who they bring in now ….wuffle!… I sure hope Spencer and Admin are not watching this – hopefully they are on the road coming home from the
champagnebook signing…oooer!…There’s always the radio, they could be listening to it on the radio…wuffle!5:19 pm on September 24th, 2011
Mom did find that while reading the 4th book, her vision of Chet got fuzzier because of the blasted cover art. The book was fantastic, but the cover was not!! Should not have had Susie (although we are becoming fans of Susie) and should have stayed with the style of the 1st 3 books.
Regarding, bullying…..it always amazes Mom that people are mean and cruel to either other people or animals just to be mean. What’s the attraction in that? We do feel that technology may play some part of it. One of the girls in her office always says she is talking to someone when she is actually communicating via text.
5:27 pm on September 24th, 2011
Puss N’ Boots!….We “talk” to each other here using text….snort!…Unless you want to give me your phone number. Then I will call you and tell you all about what I think over the phone…heh! grunt!
5:51 pm on September 24th, 2011
That is a way better Chet than the one on the cover. Excellent. Melanie needs to give him a white ear!
BSD, She did not read them in order either. First Barb read Started Early, Took the Dog, because she saw it displayed at the library. She liked it a lot, so went back and ordered 2 more. One Good Turn, 2006, and now When Will There Be Good News, 2008.
Have not read the ones prior. Atkinson always has a cast of characters, and they appear in the chapters in sort of a rotating sequence. Each book has taken 50-60 pages before really grabbing you. I think Jackson Brodie is the only character that has been in all 3 books.
5:54 pm on September 24th, 2011
B: Your bn bread with butter and/or honey sounds delish! Wonderful comfort food, I’d say.
Rio: Your friend’s new workplace sounds like a good spot. (Although I don’t understand why her mother would want to cover up the windows on the outside). Sometimes, the place where a creative person like your friend works will make a big difference in how she views her projects and her productivity. I sometimes draw myself, but I do not really have “my own space” to do it. Can’t wait to see the final project!
Gus and BooBear: Okay, I will concede that this dog may possibly look like Chet. But Chet has often stated that he likes kids. Do you think he looks a bit intimidaing to a kid?
6:04 pm on September 24th, 2011
Rose, can’t you picture Charlie riding on that dog’s back around the front yard? And just about EVERYBODY who meets Chet seems uneasy around him at first. And let’s face it, kids often see past the danger and just see “doggy!!”
6:16 pm on September 24th, 2011
Gus and BooBar:
There is something about this dog’s eyes that trouble me. They seem very intense. I’m thinking that Chet would have very warm eyes, except when he has his teeth around a perp’s leg. I suppose I’m just hard to please.
6:18 pm on September 24th, 2011
Apologies, BooBear!

Barb!…heh!…If you only knew….sniff!… The fact is, no one in my friends family finds her very creative, mostly they are just mad at her for not pandering to her nephews who are, well lets just say, “no good”, and so you see she must get by with what she can for a work-space.…grunt!…Oh, it is so tempting to go on and on right now, but she says I am a big blabber mouth and I should just “shut-it”…gruffle!
6:45 pm on September 24th, 2011
Eyes!… I also think the Eyes are not quite right on that interesting looking black Chet-like-guy…snort!…The eyes look more like Kat eyes to me and maybe that’s why Puss N’ Boots thinks he is their perfect vision of Chet…chuffle!… I love everything about him except “the Kat eyes”…heh!

That dog is not my image of Chet and I cannot see Charlie riding on his back
Virginia Woolf said it well: Every woman needs a room of her own.
7:03 pm on September 24th, 2011
Stover!…My friend says she needs a door of her own that she can Lock…heh!… Nothing like No Privacy to gruffle ones feathers every stinking weekend…grump!…If one does have to barge into someone else’s “space” three to four times in an afternoon, why can’t they at least keep their commentary to themselves….huffle! … If say one does not like baseball, why tell someone who DOES over and over what a waste of time it is to sit and watch a game?…hmmmphf?
7:14 pm on September 24th, 2011
Uh Oh!…The Red Sox lost to the Yankees tonight…snort!… I wonder what the Tampa Bay Rays are doing to Toronto….heh!…Wookie! Do you have a Report?…chuffle!
7:20 pm on September 24th, 2011
Rio, That comment was for Rose, I think, about your work space.
Doesn’t your friend’s mother understand the concept of knocking if a door is closed. That is just basic respect. Maybe they should have a sit-down so she can explain that if her door is open, come on in. If door is closed, knoock or just leave her alone for a bit. That is a pretty easy concept, no?
7:27 pm on September 24th, 2011
Barb!…You are right, that work-space comment was offered up because of Rose’s comment…grunt!…For some reason I thought it was you who had said something…sniff!
Walk!…Well, crap! We will be going on our long HOT AS HELL walk in about 15 minutes or so…grump!…She says we will go before we eat tonight because she is still a bit gruffled over the whole private space and commentary yet…snuff!…Her mother can eat alone tonight. So there…heh! …Grandma would never behave the way her mother behaves. We really miss our grandma so much today for many many reasons…sob!

Rio. Toronto is already up by two over the Rays, but it is stll only the first inning. In the National League, our Nationals beat Atlanta and St. Louis won, so that wild card race is tightening up (although probably no real hope for the Giants who are just too far behind, so no World Series repeat for the bearded ones). I’ll keep you posted. Wookie at sports central

Could it be?—My last two post are being moderated. Grump. Both were before the dogs arrived home, one about bullying and a book I recently read called Turning to One Another that talks about seeing each other as equals, and the other post about butterflies in my stomach.
Snowhook is whole and complete once again! The dogs look great and it’s smiles all around. I did manage to get in to trouble right off the bat…a minor misunderstanding between me and mama Zebbe and who get to snuggle the pups.
9:05 pm on September 24th, 2011
Bella, please put the times of your moderated posts on the blog, just in case they come back and I can check in the morning.
Patsy has already gone to bed, and I’m going to push her over and crawl in beside her. This weather is just plain nasty for those of us who are two legged barometers!

Rebeccer!…That’s just the beginning of what you can do for me while I am there…heh!heh!
9:30 pm on September 24th, 2011
Walk!…We walked our Brutal Walk to the end…wheeze!…Then we sat outside on the patio because it is a very nice evening…sniff!… I don’t know why but I just had to huffle and puffle until finally she let me up on her lap. She needs me in her lap sometimes whether she knows it or not…grunt!… I stayed there till her legs went numb and some dumb neighbor started smoking a cigarette. This sort of ruined the nice evening air so we came inside to watch Prime Suspect On Demand….snort!… Wasn’t there a BBC show called the same thing?….sniff!

AJ!…And the Gang are Home!Home!Home!…wooo!Woooo!… All are safe and sound, thank goodness…heh! …I’d still like to know how much extra loot Pancho and Lefty brought in during the summer….chorkel!

Rio. Tampa Bay won 6-2, now they are only 1 and 1/2 games back of Boston. That means that tomorrow’s double-header between the Yankees and BoSox will loom really large. Wookie
10:50 pm on September 24th, 2011
Rio: Pancho and Lefty came back empty handed when it comes to stealing wallets or priceless jewelry. They did manage to get their paws on gloves here and there.
The little boy pup, like Chet has mismatched ears although we haven’t told him, yet. His right ear is black while his other ear, along with the rest of him is white. Lefty is all white with a black ear.
10:52 pm on September 24th, 2011
Wookie!…Thanks for the Report!…snort!… Tomorrow will indeed Loom Largely for the Red Sox. The saying, “Do or Die” comes to mind….sniff!
11:06 pm on September 24th, 2011
Lefty!….heh!….Or should I say, “Pop”….heh!… Too bad those guys didn’t get their paws on some real hard cash….grunt!…What the heck good are gloves to me?…sniff!
11:21 pm on September 24th, 2011
Fun on the blog today. AJ (aka the Giant) is home with all the dogs. Pictures of the babies soon. Love the one black ear. No wonder you call lefty, Lefty.
Heh,
Going to bed now.
Ta ta all.
11:22 pm on September 24th, 2011
Rio: Despite the look-alike-pup, we don’t think Lefty is the father. I should have given clear instructions to the theives.

Bed!…Can’t wait!…snort!…To tired to climb up the stairs…sniff!…Maybe she will carry me…hmmm?..sneeze!

“That’s a gruesome looking fellow”, says the man in the house as he looks at the picture of YSAS that Melanie posted.
Wookie: There is a package card for me at the post office but I can’t get the package until Monday. >_<
Hoorah! The Snowhook team is all together again. Soon the training will begin in earnest.
Goodnight to most, G'day to Liz.

To whom it may concern! There is nhtoing wrong in supporting someone for being “your kind” or a ” good friend”, But when someone is involving in a “criminal act” and “terrorizing” innocent people, WE ALL SHOULD JOIN TOGETHER to “ERASE” such a criminal for his/her inhuman acts no matter whohe/she is. That is everyone’s responsibility in our tamil communityIf anyone who does not do that, that human being is “worthless” and a “traitor” for our whole tamil community! When you are talking about cyber crime, how can you leave out the “real villain” who terrorized everybody?????Only one of the following, could be a REASON for your cowardly act1) Are you a good friend of him??2) or ARE YOU AFRAID of him????It does not matter whether he is is a friend or you are scared of him, you should be ashamed of being yourself no matter what reputation you have in the internet world!
