Thank you, Barb is partially excited and partially nervous about her first day back to work. Tomorrow and Thursday will be 4 hour training days, and then next week full 7 hour days. She was not really bored, but this dream job was hard to turn down.
Has anyone out there had wallpapering done? Barb has done her own in the past but didn’t want to do the bathrooms – too much twisting and turning and cutting in a small space. We thought it would cost abound $40 per double roll, but today a guy told her $100 per double. She is going to rethink this. That would be $500 labor for the 2 bathrooms. Doesn’t that seem outlandish or are we just out of touch?

Dawson: Bedpugs happen when you least expect them. I check for bedpugs everynight. Luckily, we’ve only been invested with sledbugs. They burp and fart less.

BedPugs!….Those happy times when I get to be a bedpug I stay down towards the bottom of the bed, but then for some reason I keep scooting closer and closer to someone – I have even been known to nip a few toes much to someone’s surprise…heh!heh!..But that Beau, he has to be up closer and closer up top to the pillows…grunt!…Someone has far too may allergies for that to happen, so it is a constant pillow stealing, toe-nipping exercise in futility that ends up with us back in our floor-beds…sniff!…At least my bed is warm and soft. Beau’s bed it hard and cold…chuffle!

I went out for a quilting session with some other hand cranking seamstresses today. I took my very modern Model 99 Singer handcrank (1955) but there was a really neat looking machine from the 1920’s being cranked. I was jealous.
Awesome hung out with Dad while I was gone. Tomorrow a.m. really early she is leaving us. sniff sniff sniff. We will miss her so much. Give her a nice breakfast Nana. sob.

Rio: The best way to avoid being a floor pug once again is to go limp. It works for me all the time. Eventually, my Lady and the Giant give up. When I was but a young guy, I would go to bed when my Lady did. She would find the Giant sleeping on the couch in the morning. Someone, I forget who—details can be fuzzy, wee bastards—would growl at the Giant when he would try to get into bed.

Rio: The Thieves are planning on blurring Beau to Rick’s bedside for the laying on of paws. I suggested they drop of some beer and hot wings to you in the process. It gives you two of your favorite treats and gets Beau out of your fur for a bit. It’s a win-win. Look for them tomorrow.

Rick gets a little confused due to meds, so probably no one will believe that he had a visit from some missionary pooches in the night. But we will know the truth. If nothing goes awry, he will be coming home tomorrow. While I was typing this, he called and I warned him to be expecting visitors in the night.
