Good morning everyone! A story that we have dreaded. So glad Zoey survived.
    Fun, fantastic Friday to all.

    Greetings!

    Good morning, HOH!

Glad that Zoey made it through the ordeal!

Hope Staff is getting some rest after her train ride. Hope Dawson is recovering from her fall. Hope BooBear’s Mom is back to feeling tip-top.

A sunny day here in this neck of the woods, but very cold. Temps in the low double digits today. Night time temp is expected to be zero…BRRRR!

    A good Friday to all!

That is a scary story. I’m glad Zoey is okay.

Very cold here also but the sun is shining brightly on the snow.

    Good afternoon all.

    Hey Nigel!
I have a friend with 2 little dogs and she needs a source for booties for small dogs. Can you let us know ASAP. The temp here was minus 13 this morning.

Staff: Tell your friend’s dogs to do what I do…insists on not going outside until April. Wee Nigel doesn’t know about booties for his paws as we put them on his ears. Me? I know about booties having crossed the finish line before I retired. Tell her to look up dog booties dot com online. I think they make booties for all sizes of ears.

Well phooey. Sadie hasn’t put any weight on her back foot in the 3 hours I’ve been home. It is not swollen or tender to the touch. Her hips seem fine. She sits and lays down on that side. She is not whimpering. I am thinking she might have slid on the deck and twisted her ankle and is afraid to put weight on it. Any advice? I’d like to wait before taking her to the vet. If nothing else because I don’t know how she can go downstairs and get into the car.

If it is not one thing, it is the other

Book!…My friend saw a new fiction book today that started with Alice and was amazingly accurate. She so wanted to remember the title but…bah!…Maybe next time when she is there “working” she will find it and remember. Unless it has been checked out by another Undercover Kat…snuff!

Rio: when Mr. Big got his body shaved, his nails were snipped. He couldn’t scratch anyone even if he wanted too.
I seem to recall Sadie went through this same thing once and then suddenly decided to start using the foot again. That is what I hope happens now.

Ole Doc, Thank you for the info. Rio, thank you for the advice. Both my friend and I are playing at the quilt store this weekend. We should be able to figure out something.

Sadie!…I bet she has dawgie arthritis…sniff!…Poor thing.

Staff!…You and your quilting friend could probably start a whole new line of dawgie-paws-booties for all those frozen paws up north…snorkel!
