Here is a good-morning kissy for you all.

8:39 am on March 28th, 2012
Hey Macy!
Good Morning Everybody!
8:40 am on March 28th, 2012
Wow, and we always thought that just under a pound was small.
Hey! Another service dog! Hi Moe (and partner Steve).
The Royals’ Mum is coming up today. We’re being serious and doing serious things. That should last all of about 5 minutes.
8:42 am on March 28th, 2012
Macy love the Kissing Booth! Morning all.
8:43 am on March 28th, 2012
Yikes!…Are those Pit-Bullies?….snort!
8:45 am on March 28th, 2012
Good morning all.
8:51 am on March 28th, 2012
Good morning everyone. Thanks again for last night.
Hi Steve! Hey Moe – I (Tupper) am a service dog too! Welcome!
Hi Melanie – Mama is leaving in just a couple minutes. She says you have serious work to do. Why is it that we think said work will soon dissolve into giggles, chuckles, snorts and gaffaws?
Hmmmmm?
8:56 am on March 28th, 2012
Well, we did it. We dropped Chad off at rehab yesterday.
It did not go well. Chad and his so called friends got the drunk the night before. Chad was smug and disrespectful. Mom was mad.
He won’t last.
8:58 am on March 28th, 2012
Good morning all. That isn’t a dog. Thats a rodent.
Macy, love love love those pitbulls. We have lots of cousin pitbulls and we love playing with them (Mom loves snuggling them).
Intrigued about the serious work Melanie and T&G’s mum are doing.
8:59 am on March 28th, 2012
Good morning all. Melanie and Amalia, have fun mixed in with all the serious stuff. Maybe go out for lunch?
That puppy is cute, but almost too small to qualify as a dawg! Maybe a purse pup to keep her safe and off the floor.
We have the wind that nearly blew Rio and Beau away two days ago. No fun out there.
9:07 am on March 28th, 2012
Oley, you know what happens to rodents around here! Not a long life expectancy!
Pit bulls – Son and wife have one that is about 11 yrs old. Jess had her before she and Josh met. Morgan is probably the best dog I have ever seen around kids, both theirs and others. However, they can not take her anywhere with other dogs, or have anyone bring their dogs over, because she is dog aggressive. That is unfortunately what they were bred for.
9:12 am on March 28th, 2012
Barb!…Can you smell our breath?…heh!heh!
9:17 am on March 28th, 2012
High wind warnings here too! Hold on folks.
9:22 am on March 28th, 2012
Raffle!… Someone here really wishes she could purchase a few of those Iditarod Raffle tickets in Snowhooks name like someone else did earlier….snort!….Paws crossed that Dallas Seavey draws that one Raffle ticket out this Sunday for the big much needed prize for those guys… chuffle!
Maskers!…If you guys are getting high winds that means we will get more high winds…dammit!…I am sick and tired of all this wind…sniff!…It makes my eyes water…sneeze!cough!
9:47 am on March 28th, 2012
Greetings All!
Macy, I loved the kissing booth picture. I would love a doggie kiss from any of them.
Oh, Wolfie! Strong prayers that Chad will see the way he has been leading his life is not how he it was intended.
Hey, I like the new FOC Ranger. He could be Chet (if he had a white ear).
Belle Starr: With your two-leggeds away, why don’t you and Luna come over to play. (whispering) Tell your two-legged mama to keep an eye on the mail.
9:53 am on March 28th, 2012
Rio, When I raised my head and sniffed the air this morning, I did pick up a strange scent. Was that you? Was it your breath, or did you pass a little gas?
10:04 am on March 28th, 2012
Barb!…Probably all of the above…sniff!
10:55 am on March 28th, 2012
Hi All. One of my 3 cats is on my lap as I type. It was windy here in Michigan this morning.
11:07 am on March 28th, 2012
Hi Steve, It sounds like a lot of folks have been having high winds lately.
What are your cats’ names?
11:26 am on March 28th, 2012
Kats!…grump!…Too many Kats!…sneeze!
11:35 am on March 28th, 2012
Maybe Steve lives near Bee or Jasper. Where are you in Michigan, Steve?
11:46 am on March 28th, 2012
Maybe I should rephrase that. Just general vicinity, Steve, nothing specific. For instance, Jasper is in the “middle of the mitten”. We are not trying to stalk you!
11:46 am on March 28th, 2012
My cats are “Corky” (she’s the color of a wine cork and snuggles with the dog) “Phoebe” inspired by the song Smelly Cat and there is Kip who is named for my grandpa. My dog “Moe” was given his name by his puppy raisers.
11:49 am on March 28th, 2012
My cats are “Corky” (she’s the color of a wine cork and snuggles with the dog) “Phoebe” inspired by the song Smelly Cat and there is Kip who is named for my grandpa. My dog “Moe” was given his name by his puppy raisers. I live near Holland.
11:57 am on March 28th, 2012
“Moe”

12:06 pm on March 28th, 2012
Good morning Steve.
A warm welcome to fellow felines, Corky, Phoebe and Kip.
Moe, You are a handsome guy!
12:15 pm on March 28th, 2012
“Paws with a Cause” LOVE THAT! Moe is a beauty.
I once had a hat named Bowl because as a kitten that’s where she liked to be.
The Royals’ Mum has departed. Serious things were gotten done. I only swore at the computer a few (cough, cough) times.
We have created a plan to take over the world. Riö will be the Commander but B.Stover is going to be Queen.
12:23 pm on March 28th, 2012
Steve,
Welcome to you and your three Kats!
Moe is very nice looking! What kind of therapy dog is he?
12:24 pm on March 28th, 2012
Steve: Moe is a handsome dog. Any chance of seeing pictures of the kats?
12:24 pm on March 28th, 2012
Moe is one beautiful dog. Did you post his picture in Friends of Chet yet?
Guys, only 3 more days until we have a new FOM winner!!!
12:25 pm on March 28th, 2012
Yippee!!! Three more kats on the blog!!! Steve, make sure you post them in Friends of Chet also, so you have a better chance to win Friend of the Month.
12:27 pm on March 28th, 2012
(whispering) While Sasha is asleep, I am going to post a link to the shirt she is wearing. She’ll kill me if she finds out I told youse.
http://www.thundershirt.com/DefaultReturning.aspx
12:31 pm on March 28th, 2012
Buddy – You are a little troublemaker.
12:42 pm on March 28th, 2012
I wonder how a Thunder Shirt helps a dog’s “anxiety.”
Moe looks very intelligent and strong.
Should we be concerned about T&G and Melanie’s plan? Pondering.
1:10 pm on March 28th, 2012
Moe is a mobility dog. I have had to use a wheelchair since 2002 when I had brainstem cancer. Moe pulls my chair and picks things up and lots else. I think Melanie could be a poet.

1:13 pm on March 28th, 2012
B.Stover: Did you notice Melanie’s grammar!? “Serious things were gotten done.” She needs some serious upbraiding about this. However, I guess if serious things were “gotten done”, then the ends justify the bad grammar, huh?
Steve: Welcome to you and Moe and to Corky, Phoebe and Kip. When you did that double post thing at 11:46 and 11:49 – that is called a “double dawson”, named after me because I used to do them all the time.
1:24 pm on March 28th, 2012
I won’t do a double dawson again.

This is Kip.
1:57 pm on March 28th, 2012
Photo!…That’s how all Kats should be photographed. With very little of them showing and their backs turned to the kamera…heh!heh!
1:57 pm on March 28th, 2012
“Serious work was accomplished”. And many giggles were had.
Except we decided that Bee should be Empiress. It sounds much grander than queen. Besides- if she was the Queen Bee, wouldn’t that get confusing?
2:01 pm on March 28th, 2012
Steve, don’t worry about doing a Double Dawson. We are always proud when someone does one!
Hi Kip! Sounds like Moe has some very important work indeed.
Sorry about the grammar youse guys. Still unable to focus for long.
YSAS (Steve, that is my Youngest Successful Actor Son) will be coming here tomorrow or Friday.
2:03 pm on March 28th, 2012
Now the Triple Dawson has only been attempted a few time.
2:12 pm on March 28th, 2012
Awww – Steve, your Kip looks like a wonderful cat I had 40 years ago. The picture brings back fond memories.
2:22 pm on March 28th, 2012
Good Afternoon Everyone!
Moe is one handsome dude and he gets along with kats. I don’t have any kat friends except here on the blog.
Buddy, Mom wants you to let her know how well the thunder shirt works.
Melanie, What do I get to be in your plan to take over the world?
2:32 pm on March 28th, 2012
And here’s a fond memory that Kip brings back:
My kids were young and we had a dog, cat, and bird. The bird was out all the time and every once in a while went down on the floor. The cat caught the bird and ran through the house with it in its mouth, the bird squawking all the way. I would run to let the bird, unharmed, out of the cat’s mouth and the bird would go in his cage and fix his feathers.
2:43 pm on March 28th, 2012
Great story MPM. That reminds me of a couple times Barb had to do the same thing with a chicken, although, perhaps the story involved my mouth. Details are foggy….
Steve, Barb went to Holland, MI. once many mooms ago to see the Tulip Festival. It was beautiful. Lots of people there, too. Love your pictures. How old is Moe?
2:50 pm on March 28th, 2012
Memories!…That is the sort of photo that would bring back memories to Mollys Mom…heh!…Her photo album is probably full of photos like that…chorkel!
2:50 pm on March 28th, 2012
Now we’ve seen all the kats except one.
Does Phoebe live up to her name, Steve?
2:53 pm on March 28th, 2012
Sasha told me to tell youse she is not scared of anything. But she gets anxious because she doesn’t know where everytbody is. The shirt seems to be helping with that. I think its because it velcroes on nice an snuggly so it feels like a hug.
Steve, I like the look of Kip. Who is the kat in the bed with Moe?
And how long have you had Moe? He looks like my kind of dog for sure. I am very good friends with all of the Howlers here in Oley.
2:53 pm on March 28th, 2012
Active voice: The subject does the action of the verb: “We accomplished serious work.” (Preferred though I’ve never agreed because at times the object of the sentence needs to be stressed–in this case “serious work.”) There ends the grammar lesson.
I think SH needs to be the guard dog of the empress.
2:56 pm on March 28th, 2012
Steve, if you would like to create an avatar like most of us use when we post, you can create one at http://www.gravatar.com
3:07 pm on March 28th, 2012
A picture of Moe would make a nice avatar, cuz he’s a dog!
We have two new posters this week, Terri and Steve.
Steve, have you read all the C & B books?
3:07 pm on March 28th, 2012
Stover, you do know us Sibers are not guard dogs, but we could have a grand party!
3:18 pm on March 28th, 2012
I think it is really neat that we have two new posters.
I wonder how CHarris is doing? We haven’t heard from her since the end of that long day.
I am also concerned about Kirby’s mom becuase she was just getting sick when Kirby last posted.
3:19 pm on March 28th, 2012
Siber-H, we will definitely need a tunneler. Grace is looking forward to working with you.
3:20 pm on March 28th, 2012
Steve, Double Dawsons are a thing of beauty.
3:20 pm on March 28th, 2012
I think I’ll try an avatar. Phoebe is very neat and she likes to cuddle. Corky follows 6 year Moe around and even suckles his leg. We have had Moe since he was two.

Phoebe
3:21 pm on March 28th, 2012
SH: I thought that I could always hide in one of your holes. The party sounds good.
3:23 pm on March 28th, 2012
If I am not mistaken, we have three new posters this week; Terri, Steve, and Bowden!
It is a great week!
3:27 pm on March 28th, 2012
We love our new posters! WE think Phoebe is very cute, and we love how you came up with her name.
What will we be in the B’s Empire? We could always help Siber construct the moat.
3:30 pm on March 28th, 2012
You are right, Wolfie, about there being three new posters.
Tunneler it is then. Pearl might like to join me and Grace.
Steve, Thanks for all the photos of a lovely family.
3:48 pm on March 28th, 2012
Pearl has a new mentor!
3:50 pm on March 28th, 2012
Siber – aw gee, we were hoping you would be named Head Chef. Lots of chicken dishes on the menu….
Steve – our Mama once had a wonderful grey and white Bearded Collie named Phoebe. Only she ended up always being called PhoebusAmoebus. She didn’t care – she would wag and smile no matter what.
Howlers – any Empress worth her salt has to have a stable full of handsome, fiery horses. You could be in charge of them.
We would offer to be the official herd dogs, but we ARE Royalty after all, so we might just have to sit on velvet cushions in the throne room – protocol, you know.
3:53 pm on March 28th, 2012
T&G, we are very good at herding horses. No matter the fire, they don’t scare us! We can keep them in line.
4:16 pm on March 28th, 2012
We keep forgetting to say “Welcome” to Ranger. Rose, you are right. He could look like Chet, except we don’t think anyone would be afraid of him.
4:29 pm on March 28th, 2012
I hope I dtd this avatar thing right. A triple dawson sounds like a challenge I might accidently accomplish.
4:44 pm on March 28th, 2012
Steve, your Katz are beautiful. I was once the mom of an awesome kat, Kelly.
OH: Since Chet always says kids like him, I guess he has a friendly face, and a fierce perp face. I think Ranger could muster up a fierce perp face if needed.
4:47 pm on March 28th, 2012
YAWN … just woke up from a long, relaxing nap. It’s a quiet day here (except when I bark, of course) with very litle going on. It’s raining so I haven’t been out to play with my toys 🙁
Cats. I have a cat (Flower) that I like to drool on when she insists on following me around. That hasn’t stopped her sucking-up manners. She loves me because I protect her if any mean cats come around.
I wonder if you guys have the same opinion about noisy n-bors that I have. Mine slam their car doors shut – really loud which is odd because the houses are 50-60 feet apart. So, what I do is bark really loud, just to let them know that I can hear them. Do you guys like to do that too?
4:54 pm on March 28th, 2012
Double!…Dawson’s are annoying and a triple would be downright stupid…grunt!
4:56 pm on March 28th, 2012
Yup – that’s our Rio. A little ray of sunshine.
5:00 pm on March 28th, 2012
B.
Putting a thunder shirt on a dog is like swaddling a baby. It puts constant pressure on certain points of their body and makes them feel as though they are being hugged.
Blou used to wear one. His was the original “Anxiety Wrap”. He would be paralyzed by thunder or fireworks, but when I knew a storm was coming, I’d put the wrap on him and instead of trying to hide under the couch when it thundered, he’d curl up and go to sleep. As a matter of fact he modeled it in a 1/2 page photograph when the holistic reporter for Dog Fancy magazine wrote an article about the wrap. It was quite expensive when they first came out, and i thought I was nuts for spending that kind of money on a piece of cloth that probably wouldn’t do anything. I was willing to take that chance though because Blou would act as though he was having a seizure when it thundered. I ordered one and when we had a storm the day after it arrived in the mail. I put the wrap on him and felt that it would be worth ten times the price I paid. If the thunder shirt is as effective as the Anxiety Wrap is, I recommend it without reservation to anyone who has an anxious dog.
5:11 pm on March 28th, 2012
I do not think that we, the posters, are responible for the Double Dawsons. It is a glitch in the blog itself.
Terri, If I barked, I would bark at noisy neighbors. We only have one. He is 36 going on 14. Since mom has known him since he was 7, she can get away with telling him to knock it off.
Barking is not in my job description.
5:27 pm on March 28th, 2012
Steve, One thing to learn right away – don’t be too sensitive when it comes to Rio’s comments. He blusters a lot but underneath it all is he is really a sweet guy. Gah!
I think Ranger could be a Chet. It is possible our Chet has a little Picardy Shepherd (also called Berger Picard) mixed in. If you read the Wikepedia comments on Temperament of the Picardy, it sounds exactly like our Chet.
5:29 pm on March 28th, 2012
Thanks TYB.
5:30 pm on March 28th, 2012
Charlie is wondering if the empiress will need a certain floppy eared somebody to make sure her easy chair doesn’t float away when she’s not sitting in it and maybe when she is sitting in it. He’s not picky.
New faces at Chet’s! This is exciting. Welcome. If you notice a little something or other by the name of Belle Starr in this here blog, she belongs to me. If it was up to her she would be a professional ne’er-do-well, but as it stands now she maintains her amateur status.
Ross: Speaking of Belle Starr, she begged an threatened to splort on the rug if I didn’t get her sparkly pink back pack off the top shelf for her. She will pack tonight and should be at your place by the time you get off work tomorrow night. As usual, she will have Luna with her.
5:31 pm on March 28th, 2012
At first, it was something to do with Dawson’s mouse. When she got a new one, the Double Dawsons stopped. Since then, others have occurred, we don’t know why. Software is easy to blame.
5:36 pm on March 28th, 2012
I enjoy Rio. To answer a question from Barb and Maggie, I’ve read all the C and B books on my Kindle which I love.
5:41 pm on March 28th, 2012
I can’t find the plans of the castle! There is some very high tower (with a pug size elevator) for our Commander. Jeez Louise.
Bella, AJ happened to mention he’d rather be in Dutch Harbor. I told him to click his heels 3 times. Is he there yet?
5:51 pm on March 28th, 2012
Mollypop’s Mom…We are thinking alike…blame the software. It couldn’t possibly be my toenails.
Rebecca? Are you in Dutch Harbor yet?
6:21 pm on March 28th, 2012
TYB, we totally agree with the Anxiety Wrap. Rose used to use it.
6:24 pm on March 28th, 2012
Yes, Charlie needs to come over and sit in the easy chair.
6:24 pm on March 28th, 2012
O.Howlers: Hurray! Winterdance came in the mail today!
6:25 pm on March 28th, 2012
Melanie – will there be an anti-Marauding Goat Moat? And don’t forget the Wonderfluff parlor for any Princesses who stop by for a visit.
6:30 pm on March 28th, 2012
I believe that Siber-H, Grace and someone else has the moat well in paw.
T&G, please ask your Mum if she took the plans with her.
6:37 pm on March 28th, 2012
SiberH: I’ve always been attracted to the strong, silent type.
Rebecca: I bet it was a lot easier to get Belle’s sparkly pink back down for her, than to clean up a splorty mess. 🙂 I am looking forward for Belle Starr and her dog, Luna to visit.
Melanie: I think Rose, the person (me) would love that anxiety wrap.
6:38 pm on March 28th, 2012
Wolfie, Sorry the day did not go well for Chad yesterday. Is it a facility where he can leave at any time, or did he have to sign in for a minimum time commitment?
6:41 pm on March 28th, 2012
(whispering … Rose, I think they call it shape wear for humans. snicker)
6:50 pm on March 28th, 2012
Melanie, I think that would be a girdle. Snort!
6:58 pm on March 28th, 2012
TYB, Mom says thanks for the post about the anxiety wrap. I don’t get terribly upset on the Fourth or during thunderstorms, but I know they are happening.
7:07 pm on March 28th, 2012
Tomorrow I leave at 1:30 pm to get YSAS. What fun!
Tonight I must take my leave. Or leaf, or tea, or … ZZZ
TTFN
7:21 pm on March 28th, 2012
Melanie and Rose,
For people I think it’s called a straight jacket.
7:29 pm on March 28th, 2012
Rose: That was the same reasoning that Belle Starr used.
Melanie: So that is where my sparkly but sensible red pumps went—nothing like squeezing his size 13’s into my 6.5’s.
7:52 pm on March 28th, 2012
Rose, now we see what you mean about Ranger and Chet. Chet has his kid face, and then he has his perp face. We are only seeing Ranger’s kid face.
Tyb, that was our guess about the thunder shirt…its like a hug. Sasha wishes Mom could hug her all day long nowadays, so Mom puts the shirt on her when she can’t hug her all day.
Bear, YAY! We hope Winterdance arrived none the worse for the trip. Enjoy! We did.
8:14 pm on March 28th, 2012
O.Howlers: Well you know where we are going to be this evening. Curled up with a good book.
‘Nite All – Bear
8:17 pm on March 28th, 2012
Barb, Chad can leave at any time. I he doesn’t, but he has the option.
8:18 pm on March 28th, 2012
*hope
8:18 pm on March 28th, 2012
Pain!…My friend is having some pain…snort!…Or I’m a pain, I’m not sure now what she said…grunt!….Anyways, I can’t post on this here blog right now because of it, the pain…sniff!…Or a pain, not sure which now…grunt!
8:23 pm on March 28th, 2012
Oh no Rio, take care of your friend. Or stay away from her. We aren’t sure which.
We are all zonked because we went for a very long walk this evening. So we are signing off. Good nigth.
8:27 pm on March 28th, 2012
Wolfie, has Chad stayed all day, so far? Have you heard from him?
Rio, I’m concerned about your friend. Please keep us posted.
8:29 pm on March 28th, 2012
Rio – What? What’s going on with your friend? Find your go phone so you have it handy. Is her mother home?
8:35 pm on March 28th, 2012
Hey, did you see Rosie’s latest piece in Buzz-Feed. Snicker. Alice and I think it is great.
http://www.buzzfeed.com/rosiegray/the-war-on-men-7-crazy-pieces-of-parody-legislati
8:40 pm on March 28th, 2012
Rio? We are worried about your friend.
8:58 pm on March 28th, 2012
Hey plunderpack. Jazzy here in the middle of the mitten just doing a quick drive by post. Welcome newbies.
Steve: when I saw that Paws with a Cause patch it reminded me of my Saint Mary’s hospital days when the dogs would come to the hospital for training. A number of the hospital employees were trainers. Also, there were a couple of hospital employees who had service dogs. We always made sure to greet the employee and the dog, but never pet the animal because it was working.
Someone yacked here in the mitten, ’cause gas jumped up to $4.15. Makes me want to sink my teeth into that a$$hole’s leg who made that call.
Mom is feeing tip-top and is getting ready to fire some more perps who’ve been up to shenanegans. She say’s it’s “the height of stupidity” for someone who was denied time off to call in sick on the denied days and then falsify a doctor note to cover up their lying lips. Sick ’em mom!
9:13 pm on March 28th, 2012
Jazzy, if you were in New York State, those guys who then called in sick would probably be sent flowers and a get well card.
9:15 pm on March 28th, 2012
Alice doesn’t want me to refresh because she is at the top of this page….sorry Alice…
9:16 pm on March 28th, 2012
Jasper – your Mom is one tough cookie.
Melanie – no – Mama doesn’t have the plans here. Does that mean we have to start from brick one? If so NOW can we have our own private turret? And the Wrotten Kats have their own private dungeon? Pleeeeze?
We’re off to bed too. Glad to have you as part of the pack Steve and Terri.
G’night all.
9:17 pm on March 28th, 2012
Gah… she’s still there. How does she do that Rio?
9:22 pm on March 28th, 2012
Greetings to you Steve from here in Chevy Chase. Dad is late doing my message because he was stuck in longggg meetings today at his busy place and would’t turn on the IPaw for me.
Commander Rio do you need me to come rescue your friend? I can fire up the Wookiemobile in no time at all. Is this a mission in the making? Please advise. Your faithful, Wookie
9:25 pm on March 28th, 2012
Sammie, so far so good.
But the first 70 days of treatment are “dark”, meaning that he can have no outside contact unless he bails.
We can call the intake director and check in on him, though.
9:28 pm on March 28th, 2012
Rio, I hope your friend is feeling better soon.
And if you guys are making a castle, mom wants a Mirror, Mirror on the wall.
So there!
9:49 pm on March 28th, 2012
Welcome to Steve and Terry and oops, I forgot already. But welcome to you anyway. I have decided it is time for Staff to go to bed. Night all. Except Liz. G’day Liz.
10:05 pm on March 28th, 2012
night all
Rio, Check in with us as soon as you can.
Wolfie, We really pray it works out this time for your boy.
REBECCA! Lock Your Doors!!
10:12 pm on March 28th, 2012
Good night and G’Day.
10:45 pm on March 28th, 2012
SiberH: I will lock the doors as soon as I get home. I’m at the laundry mat right now; the state of our laundry situation is what I affectionately call ‘BN’—Before Nome. I’m in desperate need of clean clothes before I leave town.
