Greetings from Montana, where, so far, I’ve seen more skiers than cowboys. It’s a skier’s dream right now with fresh powder every day. This is not the light sugar-snow I am used to but heavy snowman-making snow. We’ve talked about making a snowman but it hasn’t happened yet. Ditto with skiing.

Elliot the massage cat wants me to tell you that I’ve met more cat people than dog people. So far.

Rio: Too much! Don’t do it! I know you love me, snicker.
To all my Plunderer friends: I send Christmas cards out once a decade (or less) and this year only because I’m in the states so it didn’t cost me $1.20 each. Don’t feel obligated to send a return card, as this is a one time thing.

Does anyone have any suggestions?…snuffle!

Presents!…She, my friend, decided she would give these not thin and crispy cookies to her family as gifts…heh!…They have never had the real thin and crispy cookies, so they will not know what they are missing…chuffle!…Cookie problem solved…heh!

Rio: It may have something to do with the fact that your elevation is different than it used to be. I’ve heard that can make a difference in baking but I forget what you do about it. Increase or decrease the baking soda, or something. Big help, I know.

I just woke from a luxurious nap. I’ve been neglecting nap time lately. Elliot the massage cat approves of naps.

There was new snow but the snowblower neighbour has taken care of it.
