Yesterday I was on the blog in the morning and there was no new post. I didn’t get back on later in the day. Thanks for the concern.

Good morning, friends. Cannot believe it’s only days away! I have a very busy weekend (family reunion) coming up so next week will appreciate having the new book to relax with.

    Good day to everyone.
Leave it to OFA to point out something that should be obvious that we all overlook.

MimiB!…I have had signs of raccoons in my yard lately…grunt!…Decapitated little bunnies…yark!…My friend’s sister says they kill them then let them sit for a day before coming back to eat them….gurgle!…Is this true??? Doesn’t sound reasonable really…sniff!

RIO! Yuck! Racoons are nasty!! Grizz and I saw one walking around in our building’s parking lot last week in broad daylight. Horrible!

Before Pookie crossed the rainbow bridge, she guarded the backyard. Once a raccoon climbed the fence and Pookie “invited” it to leave. A fight ensued and by the time we could separate them, Pookie was ripped up and we saw the raccoon go over the fence. We jumped in the car and went to the emergency vet. Pookie lost her right front leg but when we got home we found the raccoon dead in the driveway. Pookie, our tri-paw lived another five years.
