I’m also wondering where everyone is today. Perhaps no one wants to read the story posted. (I didn’t read it.)

We thought it was bit lonely, too. Mom was at a b-bay party for one of the lunch group. We have a houseguest…a bohuahua. 10 whole pounds and 1 ton of attitude and looks a lot like Samuel L. Jackson with pointed ears.

Grizz and I had a great time at the Beatles lecture last night!

It is very hot and humid here in this neck of the woods. Severe thunderstorms are expected.

As for the story posted, GGGRRRR…how can people be so stupid?

I posted, but it didn’t go thru because my name was blank. I read the article and I think it was good that he posted it. Yes, a dog died from heat stroke, but it was good information for people who hike with their dogs. The dog was only 4 and I am sure his people didn’t realize he was in danger of over heating. They were cited for animal abuse, but I am not sure that should apply.

    We Agree with BMALS.
We Here think it is Inadvisable not only for Members of the Nation Within to Hike in Hot Temperatures, but also their human companions.

BMALS, our name has disappeared frequently in the past week as well. We thought we had just hit a wrong button.

HOH, I think that is the 2nd time it happened to me this week.

The people involved in that story didn’t intentionally leave the poor pup in a hot car like so many idiots do. I think they just made a bad mistake, too hot to be walking and not enough water.
