I lost a bet with a friend. He said that the same actor portrayed Mycroft on Elementary and Spike on Notting Hill. I looked it up and it’s true. The actor (Rhys Ifans) also portrayed Xenophilius Lovegood on Deathly Hallows. I would never have guessed that the three characters were portrayed by the same actor.

Never a dull moment on this here farm. The horse. Doc just left, after stitching up a gash in Annoe’s pastern (just above the hoof).
Last night, I had to send Zeus to the dog doc for a ring around his eye that turned out to be a staff infection.
And this morning was Mom’s 2nd and final phase of her root canal.
I don’t know where they would be without my medical know-how.

I have been so MIA lately because I have been apartment hunting. This is a hard thing to do and just makes my head spin. My apartment where some of you have visited is probably some of the most expensive rentals around Buffalo and I seriously need something a few hundred dollars less. I have found the spot I want in downtown Buffalo attached to a hotel, which is what I have here, and I’ll finish up everything next week I think. After that will come the move. Ugh!

BTW, I picked up Peaches this morning and took her to Kim’s. She let me pick her up, put her in the cat carrier, and drive her on a 2+ hour car trip. Never once bawked or squawked, or even let out 1 peep of complaint. I think she enjoys car rides.

We are back in Missoula. We are dropping Elliot off and going to see 3 year old Ruby Jo and family.
I hope the polar vortex is gone from the midwest by next week when I arrive in Mpls.

We might get another picture of Peaches, but probably not with Lily.
I should have thought about taking a picture today.
Lily wanted to bring Peaches to their house to live, and we do have a little chicken coop. However, we didn’t think it would be fair or safe for Peaches.
At Kim’s, she will be living with about 10 other chickens, 3 of whom are her old coop-mates. She will have a nice inside home and a big grassy fenced yard. Kim is a good chicken mom.
