“Hey,” says Bernie. “We’re getting published by a Croatian publisher named Algoritam. That makes” – he shuffles through some papers – “eighteen countries so far. I’ve always wanted to go to Croatia. Wonder if any of the down-belowers know it.”
“One of them posted a great quilt yesterday,” says Spence.
Quilts? We had a nice soft one once, perfect for naps, but it went with Leda.

Leda took Chet's quilt…figures.
Way to go–18th country. The novel(s) is being translated, I presume. I don't know anything about Croatia.
However, it looks like Chet needs another quilt.

Sorry, everyone, about yesterday's absence. I went with a friend in the afternoon to see Sorcerer's Apprentice (I enjoyed it which surprised me), then to dinner and then to Barnes and Noble. When I got home I started reading a new book on VanGogh and lost track of time.
Chet needs another quilt but I don sew…not even buttons. (I thought that's what safety pins were for.)

Never have I been happier to be, as Rio puts it, a "no talent".
4:07 am on July 15th, 2010
What of any value DIDN'T that woman take? (Chet, of course).
4:31 am on July 15th, 2010
Leda!… How low can you go taking someone’s quilt!?…grump!
Staff!…. Your point was very well taken, we No-Talents cannot expect you to do all the work….snort!…Plus for the quilt to truly be from all of us (or the ones that wish to participate) the squares should be created by each of us…. grunt!….I am All-IN on the Blog Team Quilt!… wheeze!… Once Wookie and Staff come up with the instructions on the size etc…. sneeze!… I will start working on my square….heh!
4:58 am on July 15th, 2010
I have a feeling that I'm going to be extraordinarily irritated with Leda when TFAT comes out. She lives with Malcolm in a "big house in High Chaparral Estates, one of the nicest developments in the whole valley"; Malcolm is "a brilliant software developer…making money hand over fist"; they have hydrangeas that take a lot of water; and they have a maid. (That last bit is from THAT.)
I looked at Staff's web site about quilt squares and I'm completely lost. Someone will have to give me thorough instructions about making one.
5:04 am on July 15th, 2010
Whew, feeling better today. Going to take puppy pictures with quilts today then they get shots. I hate that part. Have to catch up with everything. Leda took Chet's quilt? Hmm after our dogs get done with a quilt most 2 legs don't want them
YSAS finally got a picture in some online thing!! So here you go. He's on the right.
Not only is he playing the drums and singing, he's also doing a handstand, cartwheel and roundoff. Such talent! (snicker)
Unfortunately, I won't be able to see him. Dan has had a set back. Not his heart this time, it's his lungs. We are thankful he's in a wonderful hospital with wonderful doctors.
Well, Zoë needs the computer. She has to coordinate 12 visits with people and their new pups. (just to meet and greet, no going home yet!)

Whoops, here's the photo.

Huh?…. Where is this amazing actor? I don’t see him or is it just me?….snort!
5:10 am on July 15th, 2010
Hey!… There he is!…wow!… Melanie, you were right, he is not the actor that was in two episodes of Royal Pains…heh!…I like the look on the other guys face.
6:35 am on July 15th, 2010
Grunt!…Where is everybody today?… sniff!…Even Chet didn’t have a lot to say this morning… bummer.
6:38 am on July 15th, 2010
I forgot to mention that there is a pug in Sorcerer's Apprentice (which I just discovered is from Fantasia. Actually I knew that already. Fantasia was based on Goethe's ballad "Sorcerer's Apprentice." The music in the movie is wonderful). The pug is the dog of the apprentice and he makes many interesting noises.
7:21 am on July 15th, 2010
Noisey!… We Pugs are interesting in so many different ways!…snort!… You have no idea. .. Stover! Are you in on the Quilt?…grunt!
7:30 am on July 15th, 2010
If someone will give me specific instructions on preparing a square, yes, I'm in on the quilt.
7:42 am on July 15th, 2010
Mom says you have to put her in the no-talent category. Just because she sews doesn't mean she can quilt. She say you have to have a special eye for that. She has 2 eyes already so I'd like to meet a quilter and see what that extra eye looks like.
7:42 am on July 15th, 2010
Stover!…All you need to do is cut out a square piece of material then spill some Cahors wine on it, sign it and send it to AbbieTheKat…heh!
7:50 am on July 15th, 2010
Rio: That sounds like an idea. How large should the square be? What kind of material should it be made from? It will have to be white so that the Cahors will show up nicely in a lively pattern. (You may think I'm joking, but I am getting a bottle of Cahors remember.)
I'm still laughing about Mollypop's special eye.
8:13 am on July 15th, 2010
Quilters!… I think we are waiting on the Pros to tell us how big and what not…snort!.. It might depend on how many want to contribute to the blog quilt….grunt!… I’ve lost count – I think we have 5 for-sures so far…cough!
8:29 am on July 15th, 2010
I'll have to get Mom or my Girl to make something for me. I have to be PRINCESS on the quilt!!!!!
8:36 am on July 15th, 2010
We have mentioned beer and wine, plus all the delish food, but what if we bring a bottle of bourbon along for some special toasts? Also, we add our names to the No Talent group for sewing.
I was Mom's shining star last night. She went out to the coop to lock up her little darlings for the night and guess what…there were RATS in the coop eating chicken food! Nasty little beady eyed buggers. She came back and got me, returned to the coop and let me in. The chickens were sleeping on their roosts, so I didn't bother them, but I killed 2 rats in about 10 seconds. I was so quick that they didn't even have time to squeal. Mom is taking me back tonight for a repeat performance. Oh Boy, was it fun! She kept saying, "Maggie, good mouse", cause I know the mouse word but not the RAT word.
8:56 am on July 15th, 2010
Mornin'
No, we are NOT moving or whatever. Daddy's getting a knee surgery(I just found out-what the hell!?) tomorrow, and he's going to be on cruches for a week or whatever. Don't forget he's 63, too, and we have an Essex(whatever that is)trip sometime soon. And we're ALSO loosing some Unemployment money that's going to cause us some trouble. And I have no idea what the HELL was jabbed into my butt, but, it's not going to happen again.
Tailwags and licks. Lexi-a curious pup.
DDoB:
🙂 😐 😀 🙁 😉 😛
9:17 am on July 15th, 2010
Wow!… MagPie uses her brilliant white teeth to kill Rats!… snort!snort!… How cool is that?….heh!… I wonder what her square is going to look like?….wheeze!… Probably a murder scene.
Lil Lexi!… Well, I am so glad you will not have to be kenneled and catch kennel cough and die….grunt!…This is good news…sneeze!…Well, maybe not for the big smelly guy who has to have surgery tomorrow… ugh!… You better stay clear of those crutches or Lil Lexi will be a crippled pup…heh!
9:27 am on July 15th, 2010
Thank you for the DDOBs Lexi. I hope you dad's knee surgery goes well.

The origin of "mum's the word" is not definitely known. It may be derived from Middle English "mum" which meant silent. There is also Greek "mommo" which meant mask. That could be the connection to mummer's plays since they wore masks. Mimes also wear masks of a sort and don't speak. Interesting.
I also received the emails from Barnes and Noble that used "read" as a noun. I deleted them immediately.
10:04 am on July 15th, 2010
In ancient Greek plays, there was a character called Pantomimos (based on two Greek words meaning "imitator of all") who was a masked dancer.
Okay, I'll stop now.
10:47 am on July 15th, 2010
Rio, I will have to give some thought to the square. Maybe I could do a collage of chicken feathers and bunny fur, with a liberal dose of rat blood artistically sprayed over the top.
I have encountered a few mice before, but last night was my first rat, and what a high! I bet Chet would love to work his teeth into one of those guys!
They chewed right through the plywood floor, and came up from under the coop. There could be a whole pack – a rat pack – of them under there. Do we have any terriers that have experienced the thrill of the hunt?
10:47 am on July 15th, 2010
Count us in on the quilt. I can't sew, but my mom can. She has her very own sewing room and everything! She has made lots of quilts!
11:07 am on July 15th, 2010
So is the Puppy Party still on for tomorrow? Does Riö have any of those party flavors left or did he drink them all?
Did puppy pics with quilts on. Very energenic for Zöe and me. Lots of laughter and fun. Boy, are they quick and don't want to wear quilts for capes. We have discovered we have a Newf Pup Princess!
Pictures tomorrow.
So do they speak Croatian or Croate or Creole?
11:12 am on July 15th, 2010
Since the food has been ordered, I think the party should be a "GO', toned down somewhat because of Dan. Let's just do food and drink in our own little virtual world and call it good enough! It won't exactly be the big bash that we had planned, but what the heck.
11:12 am on July 15th, 2010
Staff,
I love your wallhanging!!!
11:14 am on July 15th, 2010
So, do the "18 countries refer to Chet books, or is is PA's books in general. Just wondering!
11:17 am on July 15th, 2010
Check!…. Correct me if I am wrong….heh!… Here is the Quilt list so far:
ME(Riö)
Abbie
SiberH
Stover
Molly
Sammie
MagPie
Wolfie
11:28 am on July 15th, 2010
18 meaning the books about me and Bernie. As for PA, that would take research, whatever that is.
Everyone here loved the ending of B. Stover's post of 2:32.
11:32 am on July 15th, 2010
Chet!… Chet never remarks on my posts… sob! … Stover is his favorite…sniff!
11:37 am on July 15th, 2010
Mom is going to start A Perfect Crime by PA. She said she noticed that Lisa Scottoline reviews some of his books. Lisa used to be her favorite writer until she discovered Spence and "The Charming Mr. Abrahams". Now she has a new favorite.
Rio, We want to go to the shower, but we are still a Maybe on the quilt, since we are techno-challenged. Please forgive!
11:39 am on July 15th, 2010
MagPie!…. You are on the list….snort!… Once you are on the list you do not come off of the list….grunt!… Are we clear?
11:48 am on July 15th, 2010
Yes sir.
12:01 pm on July 15th, 2010
Dad got 2 bottles of Cahors but he doesn't know aout the Black part. Are all Cahors Malbecs considered Black?
We did find comments on the Internet about one of the Cahors wines that it needed a couple of hours to breathe. Dad doesn't know if that applies to one in particular or all, so it's breathing right now.
I like wine, in fact I love wine, but they give me water.
12:11 pm on July 15th, 2010
Nigel!…. That guy had me laughing so hard earlier…. Heh!… When he followed Ingrid to town and into the newspaper office…. snort!… He was sound asleep and let out a really loud fart!… grunt!… Oh, I started laughing so hard, that guy cracks me up… heh!
Cahors!… Now why would a wine need 2 hours to breath?…. amazing.
12:20 pm on July 15th, 2010
Well, what I have learned so far is that the Malbec grown in Argentina ripens more in their heat than the one grown in France. The breathing thing sort of finishes ripening the Cahors wine.
12:22 pm on July 15th, 2010
About the quilt: I will need instructions step by step with words no bigger than, say, 5 letters.
12:27 pm on July 15th, 2010
Rio: Chin up! Everyone knows what you mean to the blog.
12:28 pm on July 15th, 2010
WAY TO GO MAGGIE!!! I'm sure you will get the rest of the rats.
You're my kind of girl.
12:44 pm on July 15th, 2010
All red wine needs to breathe for at least two hours. Sam: Let me know how the Cahors is. Which ones did he get? And did he get them from winebuys.com? I believe that all Cahors Malbecs are called Cahors Black….as a nickname based on its opaque quality.
I think that Chet, Bernie, Spence and Admin do not like "read" being used as a noun.
And see, Rio, Chet appreciates you.
12:46 pm on July 15th, 2010
Gasp!…
12:50 pm on July 15th, 2010
I'm in on the quilt.
I was thinking maybe I could decorate a square with Newf Hair and then spray paint some fabric paint on it.
Leaving some Newf hair in, of course.
12:53 pm on July 15th, 2010
Dan has gotten through the procedure!
Man is he strong!
They still have him on the ventilator tube, but he made it known that he WANTED to hear Zoë. So we get a phone call from the hospital, thinking it from the doctor, but it's the nurse about to hold the phone to Dan's ear so he can here Zoë.
Zoë cried and cried and told him she loved him a thousand times and she was coming to see him tomorrow.
She also says she's sorry she can't make the party but to PARTY ON!
12:56 pm on July 15th, 2010
Quilt!… I’m starting to think this is going to be one strange looking quilt…snort!… A One-Of-A-Kind, never to be reproduced again… heh!..
[ I’m skipping! I’m skipping! ]
1:05 pm on July 15th, 2010
It's true, Rio…what Chet said.
Good news on Dan, Melanie, and I am glad you are feeling better.
1:15 pm on July 15th, 2010
Ooo, I read about a shower. That is like a bath, no? Macy does not like the thing called bath. Why would you bring food to a bath? I do like food though. However, I must have inadvertently eaten my invitation. Please tell me all about it. Macy sad.
1:17 pm on July 15th, 2010
Rio – I think Chet likes you best. Of course B. gets mentioned, she's an all-star, but that's okay. My Pug cousin Emma is very sensitive like you. It must be some Puggish thing.
1:19 pm on July 15th, 2010
Macy, you're new here so you missed when we were setting up the shower for the Newf puppies. You are invited!
1:29 pm on July 15th, 2010
All you need to do is show up here at the blog tomorrow, Macy. Everything has been taken care of. Dawson has done a fine job of ordering all the food for us.
1:30 pm on July 15th, 2010
Just went back and caught up. I had missed a lot. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts.
RATS! Under the hen house. Scary. We had a rat invasion here. I walked into the dog room, carrying my laundry basket, switched on the lights and there was a rat coming right at me on the shelve right next to the light switch. I screamed, the rat screamed, my laundry scattered, the rat jumped up a foot in the air and fell behind the washing machine. The dogs never woke up.
I explained to my father, I was NOT going to turn any lights out until I went to bed.
We got rid of the rats that week.
We needed a Magpie!
Could have used

It suddenly got very dark and we're having extemely strong wind and thunderstorms.
2:00 pm on July 15th, 2010
Aw, B., stop it already. You always send that stuff to us.
2:03 pm on July 15th, 2010
OK I see Rio is working hard on the quilt.
I am thinking I would like to finish with 8 inch blocks (8 is my lucky number) which means you all can cut your fabric 9 inches square and I can trim them down. Non quilters don't always understand square.
You must use 100% cotton broadcloth (not flannel)
1)-Go to a real quilt store and ask for a quarter yard or a fat quarter of the fabric you like. It should cost you around 2-3 dollars.
2)-If you have a piece of 100% cotton from some clothing that you are no longer wearing you can send that along. If it has stripes on it make sure there is some light area for a signature. I don't want heavier material like denim or twill. I won't be using it if it isn't 100% cotton. Did I say that enough times?
You can use any color you want but remember if you are just signing it, we want the signature to SHOW.
Personally I think you should all draw a picture of a dog on your square if you aren't going to sew. Heh heh, I think that would be an interesting quilt!
However, you may decorate it (or sign it) any way you want.
OR you can send me an email with your design in a word document and I will print it out onto quilt fabric. However if you do that you have to send me $2 to pay for that fabric. It is demmed expensive stuff.
Wookie- Have I forgotten anything?
My email& address will be sent out to you when you leave a comment (with your email address) at my blog…a comment which I will delete as soon as I get so your email isn't floating around out there. Unless someone has a better idea for how to communicate.?
~Chet, I wonder if Spence has a favorite color? Should we even try to cater to his pointy headed taste?
Staff

My Mom agreed to do both my quilt square and cousin Sam's. Sammie (Princess) is driving us crazy about this so Mom agreed just to get some peace.
2:40 pm on July 15th, 2010
Oh, good! Now I just have to have time to get the material!
2:41 pm on July 15th, 2010
Okay…nine-inch square, 100% cotton broadcloth. Is that the same as just plain 100% cotton? Do we need a special kind of pen to write out names?
2:45 pm on July 15th, 2010
AbbieTheKat!…. Why don’t we just email you directly at your email address that you have put out here before?….snort!… I won’t say what it “is” just to make sure that is okay with you first… wheeze!… That way everyone won’t have to set-up a username and password for your blog… snicker! …This way no one’s email is out on your blog when there is over-lapping. Lots of time zones to keep in mind…heh!
2:50 pm on July 15th, 2010
Cahors wine report: Dad loves it! This was the first bottle of the 2 he could find locally.
2:54 pm on July 15th, 2010
Step one: I found quilting stores in the yellow pages. Mom, who just spilled iced tea on my Iditarod mouse pad, can drive me into town.
I have the same question as Stover, what kind of pen is best..a Sharpie?
I hope I can find a nice light blue fabric to match my eyes.
Us no talents will need time, even though I now understand that it doesn't really involve sewing.
2:55 pm on July 15th, 2010
Also!… I am a bit confused by the need for personal 100% clothing?…. grunt!…Why do you need that again?… sniff!
PS: Finally someone else called Spencer a “Pointy Head”…heh!heh! … Awesome! And yes, this is partly ole Spencer’s quilt, so lets cater…snort!…Cater Away!…heh!
Oh!… And is there a deadline for us to get the squares to you so you can get the quilt done before Sept. 28th?…Just a thought…snort!…I need AbbieTheKats feedback. or Staffs on the deadline stuff…heh!
3:02 pm on July 15th, 2010
We need to discuss the Sept. 28th deadline. We may need more time than that. I wonder when Chet's birthday is?
3:15 pm on July 15th, 2010
Don't we need to know where to mail (regular US postal service)our squares to Staff?
3:20 pm on July 15th, 2010
Melanie: You're back! And Dan is so strong! And Zoe is going to go see him tomorrow! I'm grateful in the extreme for all those things. I've ordered the food to be delivered no later than 2 0 clock right to your door. There was some question about exactly what day this puppy party was gonna be and finally I had to make an executive decision. So Friday afternoon/evening it is and if you want to go all night and into the next day well, so be it. As it is I keep getting called into work with bloody emergencies so will only be able to attend Friday evening before heading back to work early Saturday morning. But I am so excited about seeing all the little (big) puppies and giving them big hugs! They don't drool yet do they? Oh what the heck, after a few toasts with that bourbon, it's possible I'll be drooling more than the Newfs.
3:22 pm on July 15th, 2010
Sam: I'm so glad he likes the Cahors. Wonder if I can find any locally.
3:23 pm on July 15th, 2010
Guys!… Lets let Staff or AbbieTheKat get back to us about the idea of emailing AbbietheKat…snort!… Once you send an email to Abbie saying “HI”….cough!…She will email you back the Address you need to send your squares to… grunt!
SiberH!…Your square could be done in one weekend if you put your mind to it!…grunt!
3:27 pm on July 15th, 2010
Staff: You mean I can't use squirrel pelts for my quilt square? I do like the idea of all our scents being on the quilt for Chet to smell.
3:33 pm on July 15th, 2010
Pelts!…. Oooooer! Someone I know is not going to like that idea one bit…shudder!…Dawson does this mean you are IN on the Quilt??? …snort! …Even without your furry pelts?.
3:34 pm on July 15th, 2010
I have ADD, Rio
3:35 pm on July 15th, 2010
Rio: You are everybodys favorite.
Macy MinPin: All Chets friends are invited to the puppy shower. I'm sure we are all hoping that Chet and Bernie show up.
Barb and Maggie: Maggie – good ratter.
Are you guys kidding?! September 28th? I was thinking more like summer solstice 2012 or whenever the 4th Chet and Bernie book comes out, whichever comes later.
3:43 pm on July 15th, 2010
I think it will be best if Dawson first sends her squirrel pelt quilt squares to me and I will forward them on. Honest.
3:57 pm on July 15th, 2010
Mollypop: No chance!
Rio: Are you going to be able to make the puppy party? I have to deal with that before all this quilting business. One thing at a time. So trying having a famous quilter in the family.
4:01 pm on July 15th, 2010
SiberH!… No, you have ADDLSS….snort!… ‘Attention Disorder Deficit Look Something Shiney!’… heh! …Get it done in one weekend!…grunt!
4:05 pm on July 15th, 2010
Dawson!… Busy. busy day tomorrow…yawn!…But I will be more available in the later evening hours …snort!… To party and cavort! … sniff!…Did someone say they were bring the ‘hard-stuff’? Nope, not for me… grunt!… I will have a bowl of beer or six, that should do me…heh! ….Plus, there will be a Rockies game on to distract me also…Woooo!
4:14 pm on July 15th, 2010
HOOOO!…. Have you guys seen that old movie “The Great Race” lately?…. heh!…We are watching it tonight in-between all the other stuff we are trying to do… Gosh!…I have never seen it before but she has and she says it is Way More Funnier than she remembers it being….HA!… Jack Lemmon and Peter Falk are the dastardly bad guys and Tony Curtis as the good guy !…grunt! …What a hoot! …Oh my!

Hey! The Twins are playing the White Sox and the White Sox are ahead of the Detroit Tigers in the standings. Go Twins!
4:21 pm on July 15th, 2010
Melanie: I was thinking to set up outside for this party , if weather permits. Have people show up whenever they can from mid afternoon on. Do the puppies have a bedtime?
4:41 pm on July 15th, 2010
Hey everybody, you can count on us here in Chevy Chase as part of the quilt project. As a matter of fact, for those who are really freaked out about making their own blocks, there is an alternative. My mom (who I only had to beg a little bit) says that you can make a quilt block out of a photograph that is then printed on fabric paper. She has actually made a number of quilts like that herself, often referred to as memory quilts. In any event, if anyone would like her help, if you just post a jpeg picture on the blog (photos of yourself are always good, whether of the canine or feline persuasion, my mom is nondiscriminatory in that regard), she can download it on her computer (being the computer whiz that she is), print it out on fabric paper and design a block for you that she could then send to Staff for inclusion in the quilt. Rio, this could be your real chance for stardom. Wookie
4:42 pm on July 15th, 2010
Pen to use.
Best are Zig textile markers, or Sakura Pigma permanent marker pens, sized 1 mm. Both should be available at good fabric stores. An extra fine line sharpie can be used if you already have one.
When you sign your block, (or put a quote on your block or draw a dog on your block) the easiest way is to put your fabric on the rough side of a piece of fine grit sandpaper. That way it won't move when you write.
Also you might want to sign first and then cut it out.
If you cut it too large that will not be a problem as I will be trimming, but remember, don't make your design larger than the 8 inch square. 🙂
~Rio, if everyone already knows my email then by all means do it that way.
~Melanie, fabric paint works for me. 🙂 Alice and Abbie might have fun with Neuf hair…..
~Rio, I suggested the clothing idea just because I don't want people to not send something because they can't afford the fabric, or can't get to a store. Quilts used to be made out of used clothing you know. Oh! Also no knits (tee-shirt) fabric either.
~BStover, I specified broadcloth because I wanted that as opposed to 100% cotton flannel. Both are found in quilt stores, but I would prefer no flannel.
OK, I think I have all your questions answered for a while. Maybe I will play bejeweled now…

Rio. Further to my last post, my mom thinks that a photo of you wearing a Rockies cap would make one awesome block. Wookie
5:01 pm on July 15th, 2010
Mom has a technical question. Do you want to have finished 8 inch squares (meaning delivery of 8.5 inch blocks from her?) Or are you looking to have finished 7.5 inch squares? Haven't a clue what that means but Dad refers to her as "She who must be obeyed" so I do (obey mostly.) Wookie
5:06 pm on July 15th, 2010

Okay,
I've ordered just a few more items for the party:
Bark n Fetch Biscuits
Jump n Sit Bits (lowfat Apple Oatmeal)
Paw-ty Mix
Itty Bitty bones
rrrRRRibs
Fetch It Sticks
scrumptious Liver pup cakes
Big Scary Kittys (these don't have claws)
Cheese Hydrants and
10 inch Monster Bones
These are to fill Wolfie's grab bags, to use as prizes for games and in case Rio wants to use to supplement his party favors.
Phooey! I just got called in again. I'll see you all tomorrow.

My mom went out with some friends after work, so I'm getting here late tonight. But please count me in on the quilt. Grandma is the big quilter, but Mom has been known to put quilt squares together on occasion. I think I will give her The Look (that's the one where I cock my head with one ear up and the other flopped) and ask her pretty please to make one for me. I'm sure she will because she's a big, big Chet fan.
P.S. High fives to Rio and Bee for the comments from Chet!

~Rio~Staff says more than one block would be fine!
~And Wookie,
tell your Mom Staff wants finished 8 inch blocks (which is why she wanted the novices to send in 9 inch because she wasn't sure they would be cut correctly). Also she can trim the sides of blocks with some b&w dog bone fabric to make the photos big enough. So if you want to print two 5 inch photo's on one sheet of fabric paper that would be fine!
~Dawson, Abbie and I have dibs on the Big Scary Kitty cookies.
We plan on getting to the party around 4 or 5. I hope some food is left for us! Heh heh heh
Alice Johnson
Who can't wait to see her photo on the quilt!

6:53 pm on July 15th, 2010
~Rio,
If you all get the blocks to me in August, (the latest by the 23rd)then I should be able to get the quilt done by the 15th of September and ship it off in time for an arrival by TFAT pub. date.
That is assuming it is a wall quilt size that I can quilt by myself.

Tomorrow we party hardy!!!!
Eeee-hah!!!
8:33 pm on July 15th, 2010
If it is not too presumptuous, may I bring my pack to the party. There is me, Macy, my two daughters, Annie and Biddie, and Belle and Holly, the Chugs. I would not ask, but Biddie and Holly moved in with us yesterday and so it appears we are destined to be a pack. I would hate to have such a good time while they just lie around looking for mischief. If need be, we can supply some food or beverage. Our Niki makes some delish homemade treats, all organic. Until then, May angels 'round your bedside hover, to keep you from kicking of the cover. Macy out.

Macy,
The more the merrier!! Bring your pack and everyone else! That's the beauty of the virtual world!
