Random Amazon Review We Like

5.0 out of 5 stars – Spencer Quinn’s books are fun to read for dog lovers or anyone in fact – 3/7/2017.
Spencer Quinn’s fifth book in his mystery book series is called A Fistful Of Collars. In this book Bernie and Chet solve a mystery about the death of two people. Spencer Quinn’s books are fun to read for dog lovers or anyone in fact because the main character of the book is a dog named Chet and he is telling the story from his point of view. Spencer Quinn continues to leave you loving Chet with his fifth book with the humor of Chet and the great descriptive words to visualize in your head. And an ending that will make you want to read his other books in the series.

Good morning all. I am getting an extra day off work because Nicole offered to work for me today. I am filling in for her n Monday so she returned the favor.

Landscaper is coming to cut the grass today, which is badly needed. Temps in the 60s today but a little overcast with rain possible later on.

Wow, those real estate prices are crazy. And I agree, the house Rose posted would not be my cup of tea! Here in Woodstock I have a nice 3 bed. 2 bath home, approx. 1500 sqft. Decent size yard, about 75′ x 120′. Price would be around $185,000. Drawback here is that my taxes are $5,000. and would be $6,100, if I were not a senior. Our county has the 29th highest property taxes in the nation and the 2nd highest in Illinois!

Glad to hear a little peep from Rio, hopefully more to come today!

Forgot to comment on the review. I agree that the books are fun to read. Looking forward to another in the series, possibly later this year. Please!

    Yes!
I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Rio has landed! I’m glad he’s alive, but where is he? Hopefully there are hot wings and beer involved.

CHobbitz: I put away only one of the two snow shovels and look what happened! I am grateful we did not get the 2 and 2 1/2 feet of snow that 300 miles south of us got. The whole town was mostly shut down for a day or two. We’ve only received a couple inches and although the snow keeps slowly and lazily drifting down, it is melting at about the same rate so we are in a holding pattern of slushy mush.

BMALS: I thought you quit that job a long time ago. How many days a week are you working?

I’ve a busy day today with massage therapy, going to bingo to play and to display and sell raffle tickets on a quilt (made by Staff) that I donated to the Senior’s Activity Centre, then a dinner with the Generation Gap group – a free catered meal for high schoolers and retirees to get us to socialize with each other. Free food? I’m in!

    Greetings!

Couldn’t agree more with the review!

Dawson: I agree with BooBear…You are certainly awesome! Just reading about your daily activities makes me want to take a nap!

RIO! It was good to hear from you yesterday!

    Good day to all!

Wose: I admit I’m ready for a nap already. I woke at sunrise saying to myself, better get up, lots to do. When I was vertical I saw that it was only 5:45! But the sun was up, so was I, the cats knew it and were demanding service…
So…I’m making almond triangles to sweeten up the old dears at bingo.

Twice a year Someone Here struggles to recover from the Dreaded Time Change. And we are not alone…many states are considering a Time Lock.

Rio: Hope you Landed Upright on your feet.

Dawson, I work 2 half days a week. About 9-10 hours total. I gave my notice last fall, but the talked me into very part time. I have to say that I life it. Just enough to keep the brain cells moving and it helps the retirement budget.

Rio indicated that he was staying in Co, so evidently he didn’t move to Iowa to be closer to the relatives there. Wonder if Mother is still with them. Guess we will know when Rio decides to clear up the mystery!

Bear: I am one of those people who wish the time change would stop. Mother Nature takes care of things just fine.

Barb: I am laughing at your post of 2:56pm. :^)

Yeah, I know, I life it! I meant I like it. Double meaning there? Maybe I meant that I would be there for the rest of my life? And THEY talked me into p.t., not the!

Greets from a super rainy Erie, PA, where I’m full of birthday dinner (steak and shrimp and fries and cauliflower au gratin from Ruby Tuesday) and DQ peanut butter cup ice cream cake. Doesn’t get any better than that! I hope Rio stays in CO…I love CO and want to go back to visit someday or other. Ugh…gotta take creatures out to park and don’t wanna!
