An awe inspiring and humbling place.

I visited the memorial in the early 1980s. Anyone else?

Well, there are some cracks in my house but cosmetic rather than structural.

I heard from BSD and Masquers mom that she has had severe back pain this week. Let’s send her some healing thoughts and energy. She is missed here.

Heck, Hobbitz, she is missed wherever she isn’t.
BTW, glad the Hobbit Hotel isn’t badly damaged.

Hobbitz: I would love to visit the memorial! Glad that your house did not experience any structural damage. BTW, how is your paw, and Sadie’s leg?

Hope that Nana will be feeling tip-top soon! You are missed!

I was at the USS Arizona Memorial in 1999.

Masquer’s Mom: Nothing goes right when your back is hurting. I hope you feel better fast!

CHobbitz: Hooray for no structural damage! Has Mr. Too Big behaved himself today?

Dawson: I drug all the cats with locally-grown cat nip. So they are happy and chill today.
Going to the Memoriel is a moving experience. I would like to visit the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC and the Civil Right Memorial in Montgomery. What other memorials has anyone seen and would recommend?

    Nana, take care of yourself!
Hobbit, glad the damage is not structural. Hope most of your artwork is salvageable.
Mom hasn’t been able to visit any of the memorials but hopefully, now that she is retired that will change.
Mom has spent this week recovering from her nasty cold and decorating for the last Christmas in this house. How in the world is she ever going to move all this stuff??
